I don't use any one book. Wisdom of all types is found in many different places and true spirituality is when you first look within yourself, and then follow what you find there.

Well, I chose Proverbs 24:1-9 since you do have to have more than just the one verse to make any sense of it. (The Tanakh has a lot of different books, but Proverbs one of my favorites). I'm translating from the Hebrew to English. It reads:
"Do not envy evil men; do not desire to be with them; For their hearts talk violence, and their lips speak mischief. A house is built by wisdom, and is established by understanding. By Knowledge are its rooms filled with all precious and beautiful things. Wisdom is too lofty for a fool; He does not open his mouth in the gate. He who lays plans to do harm is called by men a schemer. The schemes of folly are sin, and a scoffer is an abomination to men."
For me, I'd have to say it simply means what it says: don't try to be around evil people, but seek wisdom and good things. The "house" is like the mind, and a mind full of wisdom is indeed "furnished with all precious and beautiful things."
Not a bad piece of advice! :-)

Job 24-7 The poor don't have any clothes. So they spend the night naked.
it means to me that ppl are greedy and aren't taking care of the poor...like the we are supposed to..
either that or they are full of sin...(probably is referring to sin though)

You could probably relate to Proverbs 24:7
"Wisdom is too high for a fool...he has nothing to say."

Matthew 7:24 " Therefore whosoever hearth these sayings of mine, and doeth them , I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock " . Jesus is our foundation and we are to obey his words .

Holy Bible- Mathew 7:24
" Everyone therefore who hears theese words of Mine and does them shall be likened to the prudent man who built his house upon the rock."
Meaning to me: Whoever hears the words of Jesus and who does them will enter in through the narrow gate and walk the constricted way that leads to life. ( Rock refers to his wise word)
I hope that this helps you- but there is only one truth, one word and one God, and that is JESUS Christ, and you can find all scripture that was inspired through him, in the ONE and ONLY Bible- The Holy Bible- God Bless
