It was working then it just quit (several times over several months) then it works again! I have reinstalled several times checked all the config. settings (10 times), restarted (20 times), checked firewall applications, changed firewalls, gone through java.com's faq's and suggested fix's, checked IE's internet connections and security settings. And more. HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Try doing a Windows Update also look at your firewall settings

Java works fine on Vista, as it did on yours until recently.
Your description tells me your PC is infected with malware.
Use the Discover Tab above to all learn about "Malware" and how to remove it.
