Depending on how thick it is and how you want to cook it, if you plan to pan fry it, use medium heat and what I use is some worchester sauce on the meat, then melt some margerine and when hot, put in pan for about 5 minutes each side, longer if thicker, if you plan to broil it, the same time would work, but using a 500 degree oven, with the top element only.

It is called "beef"steak so we will know it is from cattle.
