well... for me, im in the same situation. my family think they totally understand me and WHO I AM. but like... they dont. its pretty hard to tell them how you feel cause sometimes they think we are just messing around... youre a teen? most teens go through this stage.. i think.

Have a family night and sit and have dinner (you cook), and talk to them and let them know everything you want them to know about you. The only way a person can know someone is if you open up and talk to them.

If they don't know anything about you,it is because you don't let them.Try to find ways to spend time with them.If they don't know about you,you can't know about them either.Even if you can't stand them,you will at least improve on your socialization skills.A good way to learn about one another is to have discovery games.There are books out there that you get asked questions about yourself and you are supposed to answer them honestly.I have used these questions in chat rooms and at parties,and everyone loves them.Not only will your family learn about you and vice versa,but you wil learn more about yourself.

if you want to get to-know your family and really want them-to know you?then you need to find quality time to spend with them, talk to them, be honest and open and spill your feelings, family is very very important, they will be there for life, so take care of them now.talk , go do things together, give hugs,people need them, talk about feeling ,love respect. get to know them-its only right.

Tell them you want to sit down and have a tlak with them..Tell them all you want them to know about you....because only you can let them know things bout you that you want them to know..
