Why would the 911 terrorists choose to flight train in the U.S. and not in their home nations? Surely, it would have been easier to obtain the flight training at home rather than in the very country in which they planned to attack. And if the answer is that it is difficult for terrorists to be trained in the Middle East/Asia so much so that they have to come here for training.......maybe our policy of taking down the very nations that make this training difficult should be re-thought.

Because we have the best in the world and so they could learn our way of doing things, our systems, schedules, landmarks. Remember, they launched from the U.S., not from other countries.

Put your conspiracy theories to rest. W had nothing to do with it.

The terrorists were/are embedded in the US. There obviously were no obstacles to them training here. Their objective was/is to look like joe shmo from down the street. They took advantage of the freedoms offered by the USA as far as flight training and living in anonymity.

Why not do it here? It may be easy or hard there, but it was certainly easy for them to do here, and they had to be here anyway for the attack...
