You do not have an eating disorder....YET. You are a very smart girl to realize that you could be in trouble, because you are. You have shown signs of bulimia and anorexia. We'll put an end to that right now.
Only eat when you're hungry. Eat to live, do not live to eat. LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. Remember that for life. Don't eat just because you're bored. Drink lots of water. When you're hungry, eat slowly until you feel content. It takes 20 minutes to feel the fullness.
You have to change your whole way of thinking about food. Congrats on losing 14 pounds, but you probably should lose at least another 15, and that's if you have a large frame. You'll know when you're at a good weight. From then on, you only eat when you're hungry. Not when you're happy or sad or bored or lonely. Find another hobby. Do volunteer work. You'd meet great people and it would change your life. Work on getting good grades, and have fun with your friends.

Your life should not be all about food. Food keeps you healthy and alive. Don't eat junk. Love for your family and friends is what your life should be about. Find your passion for your life's work. Perhaps you already know what it is. It could be music, or art, or photography. Don't worry if you haven't figured it out yet. You will after 2 years of college.

You have so much to offer!! You have a good head on your shoulders. E-mail me if you need or want to. I'm always here. I wish you the best of luck, hon. :)

I am sort of overweight too. All the girls at my school are skinny and always obsessed about how they look. I always feel self concious when i eat around them or change or something. The thing to remember is, People honestly dont care. I asked my friends one time if it mattered that i was a little over weight and they said they didnt care because they liked me for who i was inside. Just remember that if they judge you for how you look, they arent who you want to be hanging out with. As for yourself.; if you dont stop thinking these things soon you will have a eating disorder. Everyone is great the way they are, i weigh more than you! It isnt that big of a deal, being healthy is one ting, but ther is such a thing as being too skinny! And plus fat chicks Rock!

I once felt the same way you do I was 13, 5'1 and weighed 153 but now I'm 16, 5'3 and 138 pounds and I actually did starve myself for a while after I figured out how big I was for a 13 year old. What I did was realize me staving myself wasn't helping it slowed down my metabolism and I talked to my doctor about my weight and a dietitian. They still say I'm over weight but to me I look fine and I am my own skinny so I'm comfortable. Get to a comfortable skinny, the healthy way because you are hurting yourself.

Honey - please go and see your doctor, and if you don't have one, then ask around your friends etc.. and find one who is really GOOD and listens!! It sounds to me like you do have an eating disorder and you need help to make things right.

It's too hard to do something like this alone, you need professional help, you need advice and a referral from a GOOD doctor to either a psychologist or a psychiatrist who specialises in eating disorders.

If you have a good relationship with your mother or father, that is an excellent place to start, or talk to a teacher at school. Please confide in someone who is an adult, so they can help you. You parents are the best one's to tell, but if you just can't talk with them - then a teacher or maybe a friends mother.

good luck, I wish you all the best, and remember you do NOT have to be a cat walk model to be happy!!! that is just societies misguided idea!!!

honestly, i was the same way. i was disgusted with myself. so i slowly started working out, small stuff like stretches and things you do in school, like ten minutes before bed. and i started eating less junk food, not cutting food out. its unhealthy and what your starting could lead to death.

also, you have to tell yourself that your beautiful and you have to believe it. there are women Way bigger than you will ever be that are beautiful because they are confident. you need to appreciate yourself and be realistic also in losing weight. it does happen though. just watch it and take care please.

you can (if havent yet) develop eating disorder because they are not about food- they are about poor self image, low self esteem etc. you might want to look for psychiatrists help.
