Imagine what the worst crime is, hold the idea right there. But, go the whole answer without telling me what happened.
Reality as an issue is not so much the topic we talk upon, but how the issue is handled for the understanding where we were grateful for having had the experience, but took an action where no one else was hurt, it was legal, but not orientated to revenge, but healing and prevention without damage to ourself or others.
When we are hurt, some times it is morally, socially, physically, even in our mind. Terrorism in all its extremist ideology only succeeds because we either are intimidated, bullied, forced, or even wounded, surely in gratitude and forgiveness knowing lifes experiences, when our mind is wounded, surely there can be no worse crime than the freedome of being nowhere else more free than in our mind and it fails reason is worst?
Betrayal of trust, integrity, love, truth, honour, virtue, your choice make what you desire not lust as either anger or mad?

I didn't really get it,your English is kindda confusing me :)
but anyway, when I first read this,I thought, well, betrayal is definitely the worst crime, but I guess a lack of an ability to forgive would make life absolutely unbearable because betrayal is,somehow, always there, right?? it kindda runs in human blood!!so what would happen if those who got hurt were unable to forgive those who betray?! one word would cover it all,Hate.
mmm...it's sortta complicated...
those who betray have the choice not to...we all have the choice and we always have it,no matter what.
but let's say that those who betray were ignorant(it's not an excuse,of course) and somehow, they made the wrong choice;betrayal..(I'm trying to be compassionate here)..
then,if they admit they were wrong and they honestly seek forgiveness and probably make it up to others, one should be able to forgive them,to give them peace so that they can start over.after all, they're just human beings.and we're simply not them, maybe we were brought up in a better way or something. In fact, forgiving them will actually give us inner peace and help us heal.
one should also be aware of the fact that forgiving them doesn't necessarily mean "OK,I forgot everything you did,we're OK,we're back together!!!"
Of course not! forgiving is just a matter of giving peace.
in simple words, love or friendship or whatever might end,but we should always end it peacefully.
now,I wanna mention that I believe that those who betray their country and go for its enemies, should be killed(as a punishmenet)!ironically,I was just talking about peace and stuff, but betraying one's country is just....God...it's something so wrong that it gives you no chance to go for it,you know, neither excuses nor compassion would ever justify it...God,it's so disgusting.
so,as a conclusion(away from legal and religious terms),
when we betray,we hurt others.
when we can't forgive,we actually hurt ourselves(don't forget that sometimes those who betray don't admit a thing!)
so,I guess those are two differently oriented crimes, and we just can't really compare them,it would be so confusing to do so,just like what happened to me when I was trying to reach this conclusion, which is of course a personal opinion.
so, I guess I can't really choose...but I'll go for betrayal as it is obvious that the responsibility of not hurting others should be taken more seriously than that of not hurting ourselves...mmm...it's not a rule or something...but it's just the way I feel...
God,you got me real lost here :)
hope my confusing answer is good though!
have a nice day!

None of those suggested are crimes in a legal sense.
You mean the most painful? That depends on the person on the receiving end of the cruelty. You may not be phased by an action of betrayal that would devastate another individual. Oscar Wilde while imprisoned wrote "Ordinary cruelty is simply stupidity". I think his quote can be interpreted as meaning that all cruelty is stupidity in other words.
I wouldn't necessarily claim an act is a moral crime if the actor didn't intend the actions to be painful or didn't recognize the consequences of his or her actions, or couldn't control his or her behaviors. I these scenarios I think the victim needs to be forgiving and the criminal apologetic.

Betrayal is deadly by using fact each and all of the expectancies fall with betrayal and each and all of the plan made by potential of the guy who have been given betrayed falls off, he has been cheated, he's stupid, he would not comprehend something... the ego is harm so badly and it turns into severe soreness. Incest by ones parent is the worst possible crime, that is betrayal at it's zenith.
I don't think all things should be forgiven, as long as the victim can move past the crime to lead an emotionally healthy life.
(And yes, this is possible)

I'd have to go with Albert Fish's letter as the worst possible crime:

horse-hockey.
you can't set a moniker like 'worst' on something so vague.
a soldier betrays his troop and they all get captured and killed...
my ex betrays my trust and i feel crappy and distrustful for a couple years...
yeah, definitely they both deserve the 9th level of hell.
