There are 3 billion genes in human beings.
Since 98% of 3 billion is 2,940,000,000, then that means there are 160 million differences.
That is a pretty big number, and it represents a hell of a lot of variation.

I see you share slightly more... Our DNA structure is the same, that which makes us human. Out individual DNA is very different from each other and the chimp. Its like all cars share the same basic design. While we can agree that a Ferrari and a Prius are both cars and share the same basic characteristics, I think we could agree their "DNA" are very much different.

I think you've finally hit on it. The entire history of crimes allegedly commited by humans were actually, in fact, committed by a chimpanzee dressed up as a 1920's silent film villain, complete with monocle, twirly moustache and top hat.
Now that you know the truth, your life is undoubtedly in danger. Escape immediately through the window. The Inuit people of the Arctic will harbour you until such time as you can strike back at the nefarious simian crime syndicate.
For the sake of us all, do not fail.

The 2% that is different is not only different between us and chimps, but it is also different between each other person on earth. That 2% is more accurate than a fingerprint, and that is what the police are looking at. It's practically 100% accurate, if you factor out human error.

impossible. i don't know where you got these "facts" from, but that just isn't true. humans have a different number of chromosomes than chimps, and every human has separate DNA. therefore i think DNA test are actually one of the most convincing pieces of evidence...

Each persons DNA is unique to them unless they are an identical twin. It will show a connection to the parents on both sides but is uniquely theirs.
