The reason I ask is because, as referenced in an earlier answer, I have seen all kinds of animals demonstrating this 'unnatural' practice. It seems to me that a horse in the field is about as natural as it gets. Aren't Christians called to rise above what is "natural" to what is "holy"? SO why even bother with the 'it's not natural' arguement? You don't want to be natural anyway - natural is selfish, jealous, and gluttonous in many cases as well, just for other examples.
I'm not trying to start an argument - just wondering what your answer to this is.

I'm not saying it's OK BECAUSE animals do it, just that it is NATURAL. I think it's OK because I do, and because I don't give a GD what goes on in someone else's bedroom. I'm saying that the argument is flawed, not trying to prove or disprove the theory - and I learned earlier this week what a 'theory' is :)

Well put, my dear, well put!

The only thing is...
mankind wrote the bible...therefore mankind could lie within this bible...after all lying is a natural way for one to obtain what one desires. If one man didn't want homosexuals within his land...all he had to do was say...that God told him that it wasn't right...therefore it isn't. Vice versa though as well.

All I'm saying is that even if their was proof of the Christian God...Yahewh....there would still be room for conspiracy.

Well if all animals practiced this type of behavior we would have no baby animals so that is not a valid argument.

The answer to this question is obvious. The way males and females fit together and procreate is natural. Reason and common sense tells us that homosexuality is unnatural, you don't even have to be a Christian to figure that out.

I've heard every argument against it from Christians and Muslims. They will literally clutch at anything they can fling.

It goes like this:

(Bigot) - "It is unnatural, even animals don't have same-sex relations...animals aren't as lowly as you!!"

(Homosexual) - "That's not true, there are over 1500 species of animal that this has been observed in..."

(Bigot) - "Then you are no better than an animal!"

etc...

I've never known people obsess over sexuality and sex as much as Middle-East Desert God-worshippers.

Love is many-splendoured. Reproduction is another thing.

Do they deny infertiles the chance to love another and have human relations? Or the elderly?

Get over it, as homosexuality isn't going away, it's been here as long as recorded humanity so either get with the pogrom or give it a break, bigots?

I have raised all kinds of animals and lots of sheep and never have I once in 50 years seen a natural act of homosexuality. You may see a young male attempt to mount another male but this is not homosexuality and does not result in actual sex.

There is no argument. Our Heavenly Father says to abstain from it, so it's a no brainer, brain.

Here is something for you to ponder, but don't think you're arguing with "true believers" about what is detestable to God and those that love truthful Bible and Godly standards.

1 Corinthians 6: 9 - 11
-----------------------------
What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom.  And yet that is what some of YOU were.

Only is homosexuality an argument in the mind of the non-believer, the rebellious one that does not turn back from his/her wicked ways.

Hope I have helped. I am so sick of this same matter coming up all the time. Many will lose their lives on account of their willingness to be blind and rebellious.

I would disagree that natural is selfish, jealous, gluttonous, as these are not qualities exhibited in nature. I'd posit that in breaking away from instinctual behavior we over use some survival instincts or genetic behaviors.

Well, when someone tries to defend homsexuality with the argument that it's natural because animals do it, you could also say that some animals eat their young too, which would make eating your young natural. So would that then make it OK for people to do, since it's natural? Of course not.

If homosexuals would like to be classified as a species of horse, fine! But as for us humans, homosexuality is unnatural.

"God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator— who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done." Rom 1:24-28

Natural and holy aren't the same thing. Fire is natural. Marijuana is natural. Then again, posioin ivy is natural also. I agree that natural and holy are different.

Yes, because it can not lead to reproduction which makes it a perversion of the acts associated with intercourse and will lead to the demise of a population of organisms.

Animals that commit this are typically suffering from brain damage or other mental problems, are usually males only seeking to hump something whether male, female, living, or inanimate, and are never mates for life.
