Maybe some people do, but I'm not sure they are true Christians. A true Christian is comfortable in the knowledge of salvation and thus, will not go to hell. I think most Christians go to church to worship the Lord, give thanks and pray to Him, to learn His teachings and to learn to follow His word. It's a time to fellowship with the Holy Spirit and other Christians.

We go to church to praise God. Being a Christian does not make you a saint. A Christian, by definition is a follower of Christ. I presume there are people who go to church who are really not Christians. Going to church by itself, does nothing for you. You get involved, praise God Follow his commandments and help others. Just going to church will not keep you out of hell. Just be sincere in your beliefs,

I am a Christian. I go to church regularly. I don't fear hell. I don't fear hell because I am a Christian, it has nothing to do with whether or not I go to church. I go to church because I enjoy Christian fellowship and praising and worshiping God, my Savior.

no of course not, I know a lot of Christians who don't go to church, and if you don't got to church the Bible doesn't say that you'll go to heck then, church is a time for Christians to gather together and talk about their religion, it's of their own will, and I like to go to church becuase it's fun and I enjoy it, and I like to keep on track with my faith, and my parents had been slacking off, and I hadn't been going to church until a few years ago when my grandma took me, and I'm so happy that she did so

I am a christian and I don't attend any church. I don't fear hell just because my butt isn't in the pew each Sunday.

i'm in an analogous undertaking - replaced right into a Christian, now agnostic. there have been countless components of Christianity that in simple terms did no longer upload up for me. The Bible supposedly being infallible replaced into one, no certainly verifiable solutions to prayer yet multiple claims, Christians seeming no diverse to anybody else, the record is going on. i think of a God of a few form might exist, yet i do no longer think of he/she/it cares approximately human beings or needs or desires any form of dating. i think of while we die, it particularly is it. i think that heaven and hell are in simple terms techniques for non secular leaders to administration their 'flocks' as they symbolize 2 classic motivators - choose for reward and worry of punishment. i think of if there's a God/god and we do could answer for our movements, he/she/it particularly is going to ultimately be honest and in simple terms (i desire).
