I want to customize a franklin mint marilyn monroe doll
I've had experience customizing my little ponys before
(yes I know, I'm a loser)
I want to paint it so that it looks more like her like this person did: http://www.marilynmonroe.ca/camera/dolls/custom/kim.html
From my experience acrylic paints flake and such
What kind of paint can I use on the doll's face?

Try genesis heat set paint. Have a good look at online for info first to determine if it is suitable for your doll.

If you do repaint it you will ruin the value of the doll.
