How about using a large frying pan? I've made things in a large frying pan on skewers - things always came out just fine. My forman grill went in the garbage a long time ago. the worst thing i ever had in my life to clean up. so heavy & can't be emerged. yecch - give me a good old frying pan any day. Good luck!

The recipe looks great!
Just use the broiler in your oven. Since it calls for "medium-high heat" you will want to use the lower broil setting (if your oven has such a setting) or lower the oven rack one notch below the top position. Watch it closely so you don't overcook the shrimp.
Enjoy.

If you have a broiler you could do it that way. if you want more of a grill style turn your frying pan over and heat cook your item on the bottom of the pan.

your broiler or even a frying pan will work just fine!
If you really want it grilled, does a neighbor have a grill pan you can borrow?

Most meat dishes do well pan-fried, baked or in the oven with your broiler turned on.

Just do them under the broiler in your oven, that's what it is for. Leave the door open a crack, and watch VERY CLOSELY while cooking.

well you have a stove right...place the rack towards the top of the oven, and BROIL them, turning frequently since they will not take long to cook.
