I see them as those willing to serve their country. They are honorable people who feel strongly enough to place themselves on the line for what they believe in. They are a far cry from those timid souls who reap the benefits of our society while sitting back and criticising those who make their cushy lives possible.

Some soldiers are alive, others are dead. It's a fact of history. Not all die in war. Consider trained, disciplined, aggressive and loyal. Some are scared but consistent. Some are tempered by trial. Some have a mettle that is unique.
