A year or era?We are guessing the 40s or 50s but we arnt sure.If it is in the 40s,does the man look old enough to have been in the war? What race do you think he is?Anything you can tell us would help, not just about the time frame but about the man in the picture.Just opinion based on observation help too.

I think that you took those pics yourself and are trying to find out if people think they look authentic.

My reasoning:
1.) that you are asking the question in the first place.
2.) The location of the pic: a seemingly empty room (bedroom?). Why is it so empty? did you have to remove any items that would give away the date?
3.) The doorknob looks modern (though perhaps it is not)

There are a few other things that caught my attention, but are debateable. That is, there are a few other things that *may* have been there even if the pic was taken back then. Also, the resolution is not that great and so it's difficult to tell what some things actually look like.

Oh , and one more thing: it doesn't really look like a scanned photograph. You know how you can usually tell if something's been scanned? Like there's creases, or a fleck of dirt or it's not completely centred properly....you know. Then again I could be way off base.

"Engaro" picke up on the most obvious clue: The doorknob.

That style was first introduced in the late 60s, or early 70s, and is still in production, now.

The man's coat is NOT so obvious, since men's styles are slower to change. The double breasted style was popular in the 60s, but can still be found in men's clothing shops and, of course, in second hand stores.

The photos are, clearly, NOT vintage, and the form of you questions suggests this is a hoax, on your part.
