Listen I am a Christian and I FIRMLY believe in God. Because there is proof of Him. And ask God to give you a sign and it will happen. God is true. And the fact that Prophecy is being fulfilled evry last thing and It was written thousands of years ago. And it talks about helicopters and things people couldnt understand back then but we understand now. Its true. And I go to a Christian school and we learn all the other religions so we know and have a choice and no one has turned away from Christianity. We find faults in it and there may be in ours but it is true because the faults arent really faults. The prophecies are running out and the end is near. I dont want you to go to Hell so turn and believe in Jesus Christ that he dies on The cross for our sins so that we may live with Him forever. And why do demons in the past and now fear 'Jesus Christ' if he isnt true? Tell me why dont you believe and Christians do you side what I just said? Gods Blessings

You are being taught in a Christian school- of course you believe what you're being told because you get it as home as well. Your parents send you there because it affirms their beliefs, don't they? That doesn't mean that you're right, or that your religion is better and your religion's predictions more accurate than any other's.
If you go to college, take a comparative religion class. Unless you're at a Christian college, which will continue to brainwash you, you will find that your belief system is just one of many; is somewhat like several; and isn't even the best of the lot.
I have a prediction: You will go get some books about the 14th Century and read up about the Wars and the Plague and how all the Christians thought that the end time was coming then. Then you will live for many years, realizing that all the predictions of the world ending in the Year 2000 were untrue, and that humanity is not likely to come to an end in your lifetime. Civilizations simply go through good and bad cycles- calm down, Honey.

"Listen I am a Christian and I FIRMLY believe in God. Because there is proof of Him. And ask God to give you a sign and it will happen. God is true."
But doesn't the Bible say not to tempt the Lord? When Jesus was fasting in the desert, didn't Satan ask him to have God produce some kind of sign, to which Jesus responded that you shouldn't tempt God? Plus, God requires us to come to him by faith, so if it were so easy to prove he exists by calling for signs, don't you think everyone would be a believer?
"And the fact that Prophecy is being fulfilled evry last thing and It was written thousands of years ago. And it talks about helicopters and things people couldnt understand back then but we understand now. Its true."
I'd very much like to know where in the Bible it mentions helicopters.
"And I go to a Christian school and we learn all the other religions so we know and have a choice and no one has turned away from Christianity."
No one has turned away? I know several people personally who would disagree with you there, myself included.
"We find faults in it and there may be in ours but it is true because the faults arent really faults."
Then what are they?
"The prophecies are running out and the end is near."
Jesus told his disciples that they were living in the "End Times", so that means we've been living in the End Times for 2000 years or so. In the past, the human race has been subjected to countless famines, earthquakes, genocides on a massive scale, two world wars, and the development of nuclear weapons. It would seem we are no nearer to Armageddon now that we've ever been in the past.
"I dont want you to go to Hell so turn and believe in Jesus Christ that he dies on The cross for our sins so that we may live with Him forever."
The best part about Christianity is that it promotes self-sacrifice for the benefit of others. This part I can support. But are you asking me to believe in Jesus only so I escape hell? If this is true, then we come to God out of fear, not love.
"And why do demons in the past and now fear 'Jesus Christ' if he isnt true?"
Your logic is flawed because your premise assumes that demons exist in the first place.
I'm not trying to turn you into a non-believer or anything, I'm just trying to get you to think a little bit. It's never wrong to question your faith, and I'm sure if your faith is strong, then some serious critical analysis will help you to find a stronger argument to support your beliefs.

I don't ever remember reading about helicopters in the bible. I remember a fiery chariot or 2, but no helicopters. And something you might think about. one of the men who designed the landing pads for the lunar module read the bible about one of the fiery chariots, drew out an exact replica of the description and modified it to be a lunar landing pad. That doesn't mean god predicted the trip to the moon, it more likely means that god was an alien in a space ship rather than a supernatural being. And to quote some one of whom I am a fan - Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic - change that last word to god or miracles and you have the bible all over again.

The part spiritual masters leave out, because current Christians are just not ready for it, is that "through Jesus Christ" means through Christ Consciousness. People that are not Jesus can and do drive out demons, do healing, make prophecies, etc. because they are pure, open channels of Christ Consciousness. Allowing Divine Power to flow *through* them like sunlight through a clear window. Christ did this. That is why people called him "God" when he was merely the channel for God's energy. Not all people with abilities are channels of God's energy though. However it is not as black and white, heaven or hell, satan or God as you have been trained.

Nice statement, but I think you're being way mislead by your instructors. Much of scripture is rather "generic" as are a modern psychic's "readings". This means that they will fit something sometime in ome general way. I've examined as much proof as I can or have seen, and so far there has been nothing that holds water when it's viewed objectively. On the other hand, when I was a creationist, examining evolution from an objective viewpoint showed that it was consistent and had massive amounts of proof for it.

And you seriously need help, and that kind of ranting only proves your a religious fanatic that one day society will have institutions for the religiously insane, I have been a catholic for many many years and I can tell you it doesn't take a brain surgeon to know that all religions are on the chopping block, and it's credibility is falling apart at the seams, I do not like what I hear but I now know in my heart it truly was all just a lie.

I am happy for you.
I, however, do not believe that a good guy who has been deceased for a long time now is the literal son of god, nor do I believe he will save me from anything, since I haven't fallen or been hurt.....Jeshua's birth, life, ministry, miracles, death, and ressurection were all stories take from earlier god stories, such as Horus, an egyptian god. I don't believe in him either, by the way. You, however, may choose to believe in whatever you wish. I used to believe in the toothfairey and santa, but it was all a sham!!
see how Jesus and Horus stack up!!

Hi Ashleigh,
I'm a Christian, too. I can get behind your enthusiasm and appreciate where you're coming from. But most if not all of the folks here know about Jesus, God, the Bible, and in general what its all about. And they've been really brow-beaten about it.
I've read lots of "alter calls" here on R&S. That kind of thing just doesn't work here. And, frankly, makes Christians, and Christianity look bad.
I'm not trying to get you to change your faith, but I would like you to think about something: the Word of God becomes manifest when we go to others in service and do so in love.
In other words, don't TALK the Word, or even PREACH the Word... BE the Word. To me, this is the real theological heart of modern Christianity.
Its wonderful that you're concerned for others. But, to be more Christ-like, go to them in loving service without need to put little "plus marks" in your log for God to see when you arrive in heaven. Serve without the need for approval or affirmation or for prosylitizing.
Be the Word. Or as Gandhi said, "be the change."
peace, respects, and regards to you

Listen, I am Heathen and I FIRMLY believe in my Gods and Goddesses. Because there is proof of them. And ask the Gods and Goddesses to give you a sign and it will happen. Gods and Goddesses are true.
Seriously, Ashleigh, it is your Hell, not mine. For those who, like you and I, follow a religious path, believing it is seeing it. Because your Hell does not exist in my paradigm, I won't go to it. Because it exists in yours, if, in your eyes, you mess up, you will go to it.
Also, it is not that I don't believe in your Jesus (for me, all deities exist), it is just that I fundamentally don't care about him because of the harm his followers have done and the fact that I don't feel any affinity whatsoever with a desert religion that is focused on the rampage and harm it does to others.
Oh, and btw, you wrote Gods Blessings, implying the blessings of many Gods. I agree :) There is more than one.

Listen, I don't care what you believe, that is your choice. My choice is to live in the real world. I have asked him to prove himself to me and nothing happened. Of course you will find faults with other religion, because if you can not find one, you will make up. Of course you won't find fault with your religion, you or who ever will make up stuff to explain away your faulty religion. BUT overall, you have no right to tell me that I'm going to hell, even if I did believe in that place. You have no right telling me what to believe and what not to believe. I don't believe jesus is alive today, if he was real once upon a time, he's dead now. The bible doesn't prove anything, anyone could write something and claim it's true.
