Bump up your oral hygiene routine and start with all natural products that are free of chemicals and artificial fragrances. Those with real peppermint and tea tree oil are ultra concentrated and ultimately do a superior job at fighting stinky mouth odor. Here is my quick, fail safe guide to oral hygiene!
Brush- I love my Oral-B electric toothbrush, but you can use any soft bristle brush. The trick here is to brush for at least two minutes at a 45 degree angle. You want to get the bristles under the gum line where food particles linger.
Toothpaste- Jason’s Power Smile tooth gel is fantastic for your gums. It contains pummeled bamboo that gently sloughs away tartar and plaque, leaving your mouth minty fresh and tingly!
Floss– I have tried every brand on the market and while Desert Essence tea tree floss is pretty amazing, I can’t help but go back to my ultimate preferred floss Glide Dento tape — it rocks! You must take your time and be gentle. Slowly glide up and under the gum line on either side of the tooth. You can brush again after this if you have a very hot date.
Dr. Tung’s tongue scraper will lift the filiform papillae (the little hair-like flaps of the tongue) and gently scrape away any bacteria, mostly sulfur left over from food. Simply follow the instructions on the package.
Mouthwash- Make sure that your mouthwash is devoid of alcohol, as it can erode the gum line. My favorite: Jason’s Power Smile or Jason’s Healthy Mouth — both excellent and packed with plant oils and extracts of clove, peppermint and tea tree.
Drops and sprays– Two that make my mouth happy are Sunny Greens liquid chlorophyll and Del one Drop honey/chlorophyll breath freshener. Chlorophyll is a good idea in general as it is a powerhouse deodorizer. To that end, you can pretty much eat any dark green vegetable and you will reap the benefits.

Bad breath is a serious social problem for many people regardless of age and status in life. To combat bad breath you must first know what causes bad breath. It starts up from bad cavity. Brushing the teeth to remove plaque and tartar helps, as does treating canker sores that may appear on the gums and taking other steps to maintain good oral hygiene. Unless bad breath is kept under control by tooth brushing and flossing and where necessary, the use of antibacterial products at http://www.oramd.com/bad-breath.htm the condition will recur.

well i know you think nothing works
but there is a really great tooth paste ive been using called advanced clean
its armanhammer
really good , your teeth feel clean even after eating
so you floss to get plaque out , then rinse your mouth with the white listerine, it isnt so harsh but gets rid of bad breath. Brush for about one minute and a half
and keep some mints in your pocket( not those green ones)
and you should be fine
if you feel you need a mid day re-fresh you could use oral b finger slips but it doesnt really work
just stick to that routine

I find sometimes eating sugar (in candy and desserts, not in fruit) can create bad breath afterwards. Even sugar from the gum you chew might leave a bad taste in your mouth afterwards.Try staying off refined sugar for a while, and eating raw carrots or celery to cleanse your palate. Raw mint leaves are also good too.
A good sugar substitute would be mango juice or pomagranate juice. Those are very sweet juices.

Don't forget to brush your tongue as well as your teeth because this is where a lot of the germs that cause bad breath come from.

bear in mind that bad breath can be caused by a lot of things like lack of oral hygiene, dirty mouth, eating a garlicky meal, dry mouth, medications, smoking, gum disease and stomach related problems. to determine the cause, you need to speak to the dentist to get appropriate treatments.
build up your own defense system by keeping saliva in the mouth going, you need to keep the whole mouth hydrated by drinking adequate amount of water.
the key to have fresh breath is to keep up and maintain good oral health through having a good program of good oral hygiene. for more tips on how to beat bad breath visit http://www.oramd.com

You might have something to do with your teeth, or your gums. Go check it out at a dentist.
