And in the same vein, I can ask you the same KIND of question - Do you close the living room curtains before you abuse your children?
Both questions are stupid!
It looks like you're down to grasping for straws! Didn't you have enough straw to build a real straw man to tear down?
Now explain how THIS atheistic ploy is "right":
Many years ago, some archological students buried some bones, then later on "discovered" them and created the pre-historic "pilt-down" man.
These "brilliant" students obviously never studied zoology or biology because it was discovered later that they used the tooth of a boar - a dead PIG!
So, ARE you, as an atheist, going to claim to be "right" in light of all the evidence? Since when does honest scholarship allow false evidence to support a pre-biased position???
And what about Darwin? He actually believed (SHOCK!) that the cell was the smallest divisible part of a living creature!
He created his theory from false science and faulty logic! Is THAT right?
(Of course, anybody who knows anything about logic will tell you that if you start with a faulty premise, then the conclusion will likewise be false!)
Or have you never even heard of the nucleus of the cell, or the mitochondria, which converts the raw materials into usable energy within the cell, or the DNA in it's double-strand helix, or the RNA used in protein synthesis?
Yeah - you're right! NOT! I bet you don't even realize that the mitochondria (as just ONE of MANY examples) violates the laws of thermodynamics by first consuming 2 units of energy in the "energy cycle" of converting the raw materials into usable energe.
Of COURSE you're right. Now go take your meds! Or did you think that information and data storage and retrieval as found in a DNA strand could EVER be the results of random motion?
Sorry, but you lose on ALL counts, and I haven't even begun to dig into how the cell duplicates itself or proteins are synthesized, or how the DNA uncoils itself, splits, duplicates itself then reconnects and coils itself up again.
As an atheist, strike three - you're out!

If you are a "Christian" then you know you are right. If you claim to be an atheist then as the Christian see it, according to the bible you will not have eternal life and will go to hell. This is not the Christians idea it is what is written in the scriptures, God's words. He makes the rules not the Christians so take your issue to Him. He is the creator and only He can call the shots at the end of the day. He says He is willing that NONE should perish but man will choose if he will bend the knee to God. Pride can cost you bigtime so think out your decision, cheers.

Well, for logic....
If you are an atheist and you're right, then you're right. That's it. You get nothing except satisfaction that you're right.
If you're an atheist and you're wrong, then you're screwed.
If you're a christian and you're right, then you recieve the reward of heaven.
If you're a christian and you're wrong, then you get nothing. However, if you actually followed your faith (and by that I mean doing things like being kind to other, accepting their differences and being generous to all, not being the idiot who beats people over the head with the Bible and tells them to turn or burn) then you contribute to society and to others.
So, being a true christian and being wrong will still mean something, while atheism doesn't.
(that doesn't mean that I think atheists are cold, evil people. I know a lot of atheists who are some of the best people I've met.)

Consider that a wrong Christian is usually judgemental, the right atheist is probably the better of the 2.

Everyone thinks they're right--Christians and atheists alike. It's a bit presumptuous, however, for one group to tell the other they're wrong about everything.

well im a christian and heres my view of it:
atheists believe after you die, thats it, your dead. but chistians believe that depending on your life, you could either live an eternally happy or eternally miserable life. id rather be prepared just in case christianity is true (and i think it is.)
but even if your a christian and wrong at least you lived a passionate life although theres notbody to answer to: and you die. THE END. i think its good to be prepared--even if i am wrong....

Whatever religion you follow or don't follow, as long as you're a good person and don't spend your lives putting down others because they don't share your views - you'll always be right.

I would rather be a Christian and wrong. If you are a Christian and the religion is actually true, you go to heaven. If you're an atheist, and Christianity is true, you go to hell. If you're a Christian and wrong, it doesn't matter. If you're an atheist and right, you don't win or lose, you just die.
