In Indiana and Georgia you must be 16 to date (and have sex with) an 18 year old.

Well first of all make sure you are between the ages of 17-18. It is now illegal to date minors that are more than 2 years younger than you. If you are that person the best bet is to let that person go. You may love him emotionally, but physically are you willing to see this person get put in jail for Molestation? My answer is please be over 17 before you try and date a 18 year old because they are labeled adults now, meaning if they go to jail, they will go for a long time and come out as child molesters, and you do not want that to happen

I don't think there is any law that sets a specific age to date someone. However, he can get charged criminally for having sex with someone under the age of 18.
