do guys like to get gifts from their gfs on their b-days or would they rather just hang wit them?

Both. Get gifts and hang with them! :) But not expensive gifts, then they feel guilty. Nice thoughtful gifts that show u r thinking about them. Like mixing a cd with his favorite songs or you cooking him a really nice dinner or breakfast, or movie tickets for a movie he would LOVE to see but knows u normally wouldn't cuz it's a guys movie. U should go with him of course and pretend to enjoy (it's his gift) . :) Hope any of this works out.
