It can not be both. Jesus is not the "Holy Scriptures"
The "Holy Scriptures" are not part of the God head.

actualy, if two positives equal to a third then:
Jesus = the Word of God
Bible = the Word of God
Jesus = Bible.
Jesus is the living expresion of God's perfect word. Jesus wrote the Bible.
this then would mean that the Bible is part of the Godhead... hmm, now that's interesting

Jesus was.

The bible is fundamentally flawed. It may have been "divinely inspired." However if every person is born with sin and commits other sins of mind and flesh then ther perspective is limited to that function, and its counter. So what god tells them they can not translate accuately becuse god does not see through human eyes and we do. Unless God sins. then the whole base of the religion is garbage and worthless. As such God can not sin. (supposedly) And can not understand it becuse he is not capable of it, which means he can not do it, so he dosent know how it affects people.

Then you have laws of dictation. It dosent matter. If you have a paragraph and you dictate it, then it will not end up the same. There will be fuzzing, and there will be blatant error.

To seal the deal. The books of the bible (specifically the 4 gospels) where written some 50 years after christ died. Which means the fathers of the writters where not old enough to work when jesus died (most likely) that age was 10 or so.

As such they had no knowlege of what Jesus exactly said. All they have is word of mouth and maybe some script jotted down here and there.

So the word of jesus is the truth. Not the exact word becuse that is not existing.

However evaluation of the events, probing the texts, and getting a general feel of who jesus was and what he beleived is a very good way to see what he was like and what he was trying to say. A working knowlege of the time, language and traditions is very helpful becuse then he is no longer a jerk. (in english he sounds like a A** hole, however there where not nearly as many words available to him at the time. and when you see what he is saying the harda%% view of him does not make sense and you see he rally was a great nice guy)

Also

He saw through human eyes. He learned about sin. What it did to people, how it affected them, why they did it. So his teachings, as opposed to his fathers, have that advantage of understanding.

The Bible is the Word of God. Jesus is the Word of God made flesh. See the Word of God, means nothing to us today. Back then, it meant a promise. So the Bible is a series of promises/covenants from God. Jesus is the fulfillment of God's promised Saviour.
Hope this helps.

The bible , the book is the writen repersentation of God. It was prepared as a way for man to understand God in this physiacal realm. The awnser to the next part of your question is also yes! Jesus, was the repersentation of God in the flesh while he was on this earth, Jesus was able to call upon the scriptures at will thusly magnifying GOD and his word.

The Bible is the Word of God. In the book of John, Jesus is called The Word. There is a difference in the two statements. He says the Word was God, not that he was the word of God. When it is read carefully for meaning there will be no confusion.

Both!

The Bible is inspired Word of God written by humans. Co-work between God and humans.

Jesus is the Word that became flesh John 1:14. Jesus was and is deliverer His Word. The Word, Jesus was also co- work between God and human.

We all are here for God's purposes. Jesus was the perfect example.

The Word(Jesus) was God not the Word of God.

John 1:1 (King James Version)

John 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Yes and yes.

The Bible is the inspired written word of God to man.

Jesus is the incarnte Word of God that was with God from the beginning ("In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" ... "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."

Jesus is everything God ever wanted to say to us.

Jesus spoke ONLY what God wanted Him to say.

Jesus is God's "Love Letter" to all of mankind.

The Bible is the inspired word of God written down for all to read.

Jesus is the word of God because he is the mouthpiece of God, and through him God created the word.

The Bible is the word of God because it is his communication to his children here on earth.

It is both. The terms mean different things when applied to each.

To the scriptures it just refers to the fact that God is the author of the Bible.

To Jesus, it simply means that he is God's spokesman - the one who delivered the message, 'the Word', at the time.
