no, he will be the same driver and to the equipment issue, ya think sr would have put a junk co together? no, look at mikey never won a race then 2 500 with dei equip, and jr did too, so all these excuses about teresa doing in jr is nuts, she wouldnt hurt her buisness, jr is just a driver with his daddys name, yes he will win races but just the same amount he would with dei, the rest seem to be doing fine with dei equip, people just need to jr as he is a average driver nothing special just name, sr would slap his face for leaving and all that says teresa was out to get him, grow up people!!!

I'd say he's an above average driver for starters, somewhere between average and elite.
I know a lot of folks keep blaming DEI for all his problems this year, but I just can't see them sabotaging his whole season for spite. I think some of the failures have to fall on HIS shoulders as well. There are drivers who compete every week with equipment far inferior to the setups he was getting from DEI.
I wish him luck next year. I don't think he'll get another sweetheart deal like this one if he should fail to produce results.
Will he drive better? There's more to racing than speed and steering. We'll just have to wait and see.

I think Jr. will definitely have a better chance to win some races with Hendrick. Although I gotta say that he needs to try to run on the bottom instead of running up high all of the time. That boy loves to run right against the wall. I personally think that it puts much more of a strain on the motor when he runs up high like that.
One thing is for sure, he will definitely have much better equipment!
The real question, though, should be "Do you think DEI will become nothing more than a museum without Jr.?"

He should have a lot better equipment, BUT everything hasn`t
changed,, he will be surrounded by some of the same people, even with the equipment, Kyle is liable to win a race before Jr.

He will be back to the Jr from a few years ago that won 15 races in 4 or 5 years. Jr has run well most of this season only to be let down with engine problems while he is in the top 10. If DEI hadn't gotten that penalty for the illegal wing he would be in the chase. Jr doesn't build the car or the engines. He was let down by his team.

Yeah, I do actually. Keep this in mind Jr won 15 of his 17 races between 2000 and 2004, that's a little above average. It was observed as early as 2005 how DEI cars were'nt really running that well. Give him a decent car, and he can win with it. Besides there's something about having something to prove, and Jr's going to be determined to do that. One, to show Theresa up, and two to shut up the folks who think HMS made a mistake of getting rid of Shrub.
Umm wait a second the only one that's been doing good with DEI equipment is Truex(and even he's had problems), come to think of it Jr wasn't exactly running in the back of the field when his cars went to crap on him. Notice the 01 car did not have engine issues before the Ginn merger and it was running HMS engines. Amazing how much people will ignore facts to bash someone.

It,s not all his fault he hasn,t been winning...All the DeI cars have been in a slump...JR. will get the help he needs from Rick...Obviously MR. Hendricks see,s a future in him or he wouldn,t have hired him in the first place...If he,s such a bad driver as all you JR. bashers say he is ...Why is Hendrick putting him on his payroll?

Can we please get this straight? It's Rick Hendrick not Hendricks.
My only fear is he still will be aligned with his cousin Tony Eury Jr.. Barring blown engines with Stepwitch, his car handling was always coming and going the past two yrs. It seemed to me that he didn't have strong input with his crew chief. Did you ever listen in with Johnson or Gorden. They were relaying techinical info. back and forth. How many blown motors have they ever had. Less than half the amount the DEI / Childress gang have assembled and waisted this year.
What ever happens won't be caused by equipment failure.

A bit, he's going to get HMS's third or forth best car every week. JJ and JG are going to get the plum cars week in week out Jr is going to get Casey Mears' sloppy seconds. It might be better that his 07 DEI car but Truex got into the chase and won with a DEI car this year.

He will drive 100% better with HMS, its the best equipment out there, they have their COT program together with the best engineers, techs around.. I don't expect him to come right in and take over all the wins there, but he will be in the best equipment, yes, he will be better... And, I'm looking forward to cheering him all the way.. I plan on being in Daytona in Feb to see it all happen..
