A woman I talked to told me that the act of receiving anal sex, means that a woman is being submissive, and that she wants her man to take charge, and protect her. Is this true? It may be rather gross, but what is the psychology of this?

The fact is that many guys want this, and it can be painful for women, however, the only thing a woman may get from this is subtle stimulation of the gspot. I don't think any other woman thinks the way that woman does. It's definitely taboo.

No psychology, darlin. People want what they want for too many reasons to bother your little head with. Enjoy it with those who can appreciate a little deviant behavior and find some other kind of pleasure with those who don't.
And a little advice - don't think too much, it ruins the affect of the alcohol.

Have never been able to bring myself to allow a guy to do it. All guys I have been with have wanted it though.
My friend told me that she does it if she really trusts the guy and that it really turns her on, the idea of breaking the taboo. Not sure about the submissive thing...

That may have been the case for her, but it's certainly not the case for me. The only psychology behind it for me is I like it. My guy likes it. So there's nothing wrong with it.

I don't think that is true.
I think that, because it is painful to most women, offering it is a GIFT to please you, and a show of trust.
Most of us do not enjoy it.
