I think it actually depends on where you live of the age restriction. I got my tongue pierced when I was 16 and had to sign a form saying they weren't liable which is normal with any body piercing or tattoo. If you want it then you should get it, but make sure you ask your parents because last thing you want it them on your butt for doing something they didn't approve of and I assume you still live in their home so, it's just respectful.

Most people online are going to tell you that you are to young to be doing such things. I am 26 and let me let you in on something. I have 37 tattoo's and had 4 industrial piercings, and you know what, I loved them, but, I also found that the older I got the less that I wanted them. So here is my answer, Do what you feel you want to do. You are the one that has to be happy with them. I am sure you will end up making the right choice for yourself in the end. Good luck.

Hell yeah!! I'm a 15 year old girl and I'm getting one in...about a week or so. Wait maybe a month and see if you still want it. If you have thought a lot about it and have done your research like I have then deffinetly do it. It will require alot of taking care of it and keeping it clean, good hygiene, and good responsibility. If you bump into alot of things with your ear then think about it twice. It is two piercings of course so it will take longer to heal depending on the person it could be 3 months to 1 year or so.

That is really only something you can decide. I'ts your body, and how you choose to express yourself is up to you. Of course, you need your parents' permission, but if they're OK with it you shouldn't worry about what other people think. And if they say no, then more power to you once you turn 18. But whatever you do, don't do it because of how others will see you or to follow a croud. That's the worst reason to do anything.

Well, would you like to have it when you are 40 and have kids?
sorry for the reality check, but teens can be pretty quick to do things to the body they will likely regret.
(btw I am an 18yo male and I don't care for abnormal piercings in females)

You should wait until you're 18 - it's illegal at 16 without your parents' consent

I dont see why not. it's one of the hardest to take care of. its going to be alot of work. But i love mine, it was totally worth it! as long as ur parents r cool and you go to someone who is certified and their shop is super clean. Good luck!

go for it.....make it small, cuz this is just a phase and you wont want to have this huge hole in your body when you grow up and want to be professional
