why would you think the army keeps all its medics in one place? that would be silly.
what would happen if i needed a bandaid and all the medics were in ft lewis?

everywhere man, if you are a combat medic you can go to any unit anywhere the army is and then some, usually a medic with a combat unit has his hospital hq and goes out with an assigned platoon.

Medics are stationed wherever there are military
units. There are Battalion aid stations, including
division aid stations also stationed in M.A.S.H.
units!!

anywhere and everywhere they need you......91B (now 91M or E) ha ha.....can be assigned to an infantry unit, MP unit, hospital, mobile unit, or just about anywhere they decide to send you. It is an exciting job to be a medic.......
