Yesterday I dyed and washed my hair I was in a bit of a rush so I wasn't able to deep condition it I just keep the conditioner in for 30 minutes ( Deep conditioning for me is a hour or two) I have a LOT of new growth and was wondering if it's okay to Perm my hair (Also the Dye box says it is okay to use after you Perm your hair) But I don't know I do know I don't want all my hair to be Missing in action though

If this is also to any use I dyed my hair from Brownish Red to Jet Black

As a professional I've done it on certain clients but that's using excellent products and I know what I'm doing. So if you get it done professionally and the pro thinks it can handle it then I say yes. Otherwise I can't condone it. I've actually permed somewhat damaged hair and it looked better but like I said, I use the right products....I use quality tint (correct term, not dye) and use low volume developer. If you color first that will fade with the perm solution and now you're dealing with 2 types of hair, tinted and virgin.....the perm will take different on each if not properly treated. Also the perm will relax some with opening up the hair shaft again so you have to compensate for that too. If you decide to do it different weeks, do the perm first so the tint won't fade from the perm solution and don't overcondition cuz it could relax the perm a lot. Have it done pro no matter what.

Wait a few days, wash, then perm.

no because the chemicals in your coloring make your perm weaker because my friend did that but ag=fter two weeks of getting her hair cloring so i thnk you need to wait a month
