You remind me of the parable of the sower and the seed. Basically seeds were thrown onto the ground, some fell on the wayside and was eaten up by fowls, some fell on the rocks which sprouted and shriveled up because of lack of moisture. Some grew with thorns and were choked by the thorns. While some fell on good ground and grew and bear fruit. This was in the past. but now, the sower of the seed is you, the seed is the word of god, and the soil is the heart. the seeds which were on the wayside represented the people with a strong heart that cannot accept the word of God which refuse to change. The rocks represented those with hardships and negative experiences that made the word of God go away because people loose faith. The thorns represented desire for material items. The good soil represents a good heart that will accept the word of god and will not loose faith. If you dont have a strong bond with God, and hardships come your way, you might loose hope in God and leave from God's presence.

Most of the world believes in god this way because they believe there is a god or some higher power that exists. They have no relationship with the god they claim to believe in but they just know their is something somewhere. Many people claim they believe in Jesus the same way, or they even say they believe Jesus died for them but they do not know Him but just have information about Him. Lots of people have information about God, some of it is true some untrue but they have never been born again. People even say they believe there is one God. This is what the bible says about that one in James 2:19; You believe that there is one God, Good! Even the demons believe that-and shudder. Most people who say this don't even do what the demons do because they know who God is and tremble but, people don't.

ok lets think about this for a sec when you see a painting you know there was a painter well you see us men and we just did not one day out of no where come out of nothing nor did a big bang happen for if it did who mad the bag. It's very possible, you believe in A GOD just not any specific one. Which is understandable with all the religions that exist who is to say which is the "right" God.

This is actually quite common. The problem here is that you dont have enough knowledge of God and the true extent of his power. If you gained knowledge about God and what the purpose of your life is, it's very likely you will become religious.

A belief in Jesus Christ is the key. Jesus said in the Holy Bible, Gospel of John chapter 3 verse that in order to see the kingdom of God you must be born again. Jesus came and died on a cross so that our sins, yours and mine, would be washed away, thens allows us to be born again spiritually if we believe and accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Saviour, The Bible says that many Honor me with their lips but their heart is far from me. You must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ to be BornAgain, His Holy Spirit must be in your heart, Do you have that Joy of the Lord down in your soul? Do you have a peace that is unexplainable to people? If not make the change today, Give your life over to something bigger than yourself. Jesus can change your life. He will remove the burden of sin off of you. Romans 6:23 says the wages of sin is death, But the gift of God is eternal life thru Jesus Christ our Lord. Start a new life today, its easy to do, just take a step of faith and pray this sinners prayer believing in the Bible and Jesus and believe it with everything in your heart and soul, just pray Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart you are now a child of God, rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of Life. many people believe just to be safe. the tell themselves that they are a believer and therefore will be well off the day they die. i was like that before i found jesus....
