if 9/11 never happened i think there wouldn't be harsh racist against Muslims, and so much stereotypes when you think of the word "Islam" or "Muslim". Cause me as a Muslim its has shaped me to become proud of my religion and i think everyone should be proud of what they are. And i really don't believe that Muslims where part of 9/11 and i don't need you guys to explain that. So how has 9/11 changed your perspective on Muslims, and how would America and the whole world be if 9/11 didn't happen? Please be kind and respect i want to discuss this like grownups.

It hasn't changed my views on Muslims in the least. There will be fanatical zealots among any group of people, religions, and organizations.

9/11 changed my perspective only in as much that I appreciate the time in which we live all the more.
I'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses and we believe these are "the last days". So I have more drive to accomplish my Ministry.

Thankfully, where I live, there doesn't seem to be any prejudice. Then again, I live in a very small country town with maybe only a couple Muslims.

Momo,

I'm concerned that you are convinced that Muslims were not involved in 9/11, as that means you are only listening to certain types of news stories, possibly in countries or areas that slant the news even more than in the US. However, in the US the truth does get through eventually (for the most part). For me, it didn't change how I feel about Muslims because I always knew there were radical extremists who target US citizens and military (Beirut, Khobar Towers and Aden Harbor). Most of the Muslims I know are very nice, and that includes many I met while in the Middle East (UAE).

My perspective on Islam has not changed. Before 9/11 I knew what the Quran said fighting against those who don't believe in it. I also knew about the genocide in the Sudan and how the black africans there are being tortured or killed by the arabic government. I also knew about the arabic nations calling for the death of Israel and all Jews. 9/11 has opened the eyes of many people about what is written in the Quran and why Muslims do what they do.

I too am proud of being a Muslim. Those who complain about 9/11 are hypocrites and evil doers. America starves, brutalizes, rapes, tortures and otherwise harms Muslims all the time, and then is surprised when Muslim warriors react. And then the hoardes of politicians and officials who pretended to respect Islam. If they respected Islam, they would not defy it. Western respect is skin deep at best. I do not want to have a world of athiests and christians and jews telling me that they will allow me to be a Muslim and will not infringe on my rights. All rights are for Muslims and come from Allah; secular democracy gives nothing but death, torture and sorrow.

To be brutally honest, and I know I'm going to get slammed for this, I would have to be convinced that Muslims were responsible for the events of 9/11 in the first place. If you look at the evidence, something's definitely rotten in the state of Denmark.
