The fact that some people just don't get that evolution is a BIOLOGICAL theory. They claim the earth's age and formation and how the universe works is all part of "evolution".

I don't know about cliche -- though I guess the question is kinda cliche.
The idea that there were a bunch of critters (whether they say monkeys, or the more correct 'apes') that were sitting around, and one day, POP! some of them "turned into" humans.
Hence, the cliche: Why are there still apes?
Yes, the "theory" one drives me nuts, too. Even the people who promote ID now tell people to knock it off, as it's so bogus.
Then there's the quotes taken out of context, like Darwin's bit about the complexity of the eye.
Evolution is a religion that we accept on "faith." Drives me MAD.
"A bird can't fly with half a wing." and variations on the same theme.

The belief that although you can't prove evolution (macro, not micro)-therefore making it contradictory to the very scientific method it claims supports it-it should be taught as more than a theory.
And the difference between evolution and other unprovable theories, such as gravity, is that the theory of gravity is still known as a theory, whereas evolutionists are trying to get that label taken off of evolution.

That evolution is a "religion". That it must be "believed". That it has to do with the Big Bang and Abiogenesis. That it's "impossible" because it SEEMS improbable. That it's comparable to machinery like watches or Boeing 747's.
But yes, I think one of the most annoying "rebuttals" is "it's only a theory". They're either too ignorant to realize that the word "theory" takes on an entirely different meaning in the context of science, or they deliberately ignore it's meaning in the context of science (hence in the context used to describe it as a SCIENTIFIC theory) and insist that it's a laymans theory (a conjecture, a guess, a speculation, nothing more).

The theory of Evolution threatens our civilization and is inspired by the Devil.
Evolution is only a theory of men with limited understanding, but the Bible and Christianity are from God. Therefore we know that God created the universe in 6 days and the Garden of Eden was totally real. Case closed.

Every time I hear the second law of thermodynamics cited I die a little bit. Anyone with zero science education knows nothing about the second law of thermodynamics. Anyone with a bit of science education (a year of two of high school) knows that the second law of thermodynamics does not make evolution impossible anymore than it makes snow impossible. I can only conclude that anyone making the second law of thermodynamics argument is either purposely lying or is parroting someone who is purposely lying.

The whole crocodile can't give birth to a duck thing...
What they don't realize is that the idiotic scenario they are describing would be (drumroll please) a MIRACLE!
That's right, folks... a miracle, just like those talking donkeys and such in the bible.
Evolution doesn't talk about miracles... and that's why there has never been even the slightest discussion about a crocodile giving birth to a duck, folks.
Only religious folks talk about things like that.
Thanks Kirk Cameron for proving once again why you represent a bunch of morons.

That evolution is impossible, since the Earth is only 6 000 years old.
That carbon-dating is inaccurate
That other methods of datation are wrong.
That evolution hasn't been proven (neither is the theory of gravitation).

That conservatives believe in creationism when the child is in someone else's womb or in a petri dish, and then after the child is born they believe in Darwinism -- the survival of the fittest.
