So, love is holy, right? If love is sacred, then why are you condeming homosexuals? They love. Sure, the Bible says that people shouldn't be homosexual, but they love each other, and should have the freedom to express it. Not only that, but their acts and expressions of love don't have any effect on you, so why are you worrying? A lot of Christians talk about how racism is bad, and all this stuff, but you don't stop and consider the fact the homosexuals are people with minds and hearts just like you. Why don't you just back off, and let them have the same freedoms and rights you do? They live in this free country too, so I'm not seeing the point or the good in you speaking for the rest of us and telling them that they cannot accepted, and they can't make the promise to love and honor each other, when most of us can accept in a second. Doesn't the Bible also say that what we hold true on earth is true in heavan? Back off here, and they'll be saved just like you say you want them to be.

Many Christians proclaim that romantic love between same sex individuals is impossible. They honestly proclaim such a thing. They will insist long and loud that homosexuality is 100% lust, no emotions involved, and that same-sex couples don't "love" each other, they just "lust for" each other.
It's the darndest thing, but they seem to actually buy into it.

Wrong, love is not holy.
God is holy.
God made Adam.
All the animals had other animals that were the same as them. God knew man should not be alone
God then made Adam a helpmate, Eve,
from the rib of Adam.
Thus they were married in God`s eyes.
They were to live together, work together, and be together helping each other.
Sex was a bonus. Sex is what brought them
closer as a couple. Intamicy like sex was a
gift from God.
Satan hates God. So satan puts into the minds of man things that would decieve man into thinking that it is ok to go against
the way God has already set it up to be.
God says homosexuality is an abomination.
That is something worse than just sinning against God.
In my opinion, If homosexuals want to
express their love in the confines of their
homes, that is great.
But marriage is between a man and a woman and that should not change. Also,
they have more freedoms and rights than straight people have. And they want more. They are always pushing their lifestyle onto those who do not care for it. Why do they do that? I think because they know it is wrong and do not want to change. Lust is sooo sweet.
So they just keep shoving it into the faces of the non gays.
If they are not told to repent and ask Jesus into their hearts and believe that Jesus died for their sins, how will they be saved?

God made Adam and EVE, NOT Adam and Steve!!!!! Now i'm not racist, nor am I judgemental about what others do around me....That's not what Christian's should do and anyone that is is a hypocrite, but nowhere in the bible does it say that it is okay for two men, or two women for that matter to be together as one. It is a sin and those are just the facts. Also, you can't be a true homosexual and also be a true christian, and only true christians go to heaven- therefore what you hold true here on earth is only true in heaven IF that is where you are going.

Christians draw their authority from the bible, and the bible wasn't given its authority until 325 C.E. (A.D.). Until then "Christianity" was nothing more than a illegal movement.
When the new testament was collected together and given legal authority, it was done so by the political leaders of the day, and it was a bloody struggle that ensued.
I think it is so ironic that those who preach "love & peace," fight to the death to see their ideas preserved.
If the scriptures say that Homosexuality is a sin, it is only the bigotted opinion of homophobic & mysogynistic Bishops.

I tire of people using the Bible to justify their point of view. I fear the Lord but I also believe in Darwin's Theory of Evolution. Does that mean I am going to burn in h*ll? I don't think so. Somehow, I just don't think Moses and/or Jesus would have condemned a loving couple of the same sex.

Love is not holy. God is Holy. Even demons love their own practices and the idea of their love does not make that practice a holy one.
God is love, but love is not God.
The word "love" has many deeper meanings than the one expressed here. It would be good to search them.

The bible also states that people should do God's will. God (through the bible) told man not to become homosexual. Yes they love eachother, but they dont do things according to God's will. When you follow God, you do, not only what he tells you to do, but also HOW to do it.

"the Bible says that people shouldn't be homosexual"
surprisingly, it doesn't. some people *interpret* it thusly, but that's their problem. for example, Jesus didn't have an issue with homosexuality when he healed the Centurion's boy love-slave (Matt. 8:5-13)

Love is holy and sacred and all love has it's source in God.
But I think you are confusing love and sex.
If you look at a man and a woman they are made for to reproduce and have a family.
There's nothing wrong with friendship.

What does the Bible say about homosexuality?
There are those who like to say that the Bible does not condemn homosexuality.
Various verses are cited (out of context) and the verses that people use to show that homosexuality is wrong are explained away.
The world wants to change God's words and meanings into something more suitable to its sinful desires.
Nevertheless, the truth stands: The Bible condemns homosexuality as a sin. Let's look at what it says.
Lev. 18:22, "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."
Lev. 20:13, "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltness is upon them"
1 Cor. 6:9-10, "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God."
Rom. 1:26-28, "For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper."
Homosexuality is clearly condemned by the Bible. It goes against the created order of God. He created Adam and then made a woman. This is what God has ordained and it is what is right.
Unlike other sins, homosexuality has a severe judgment administered by God Himself. This judgment is simple: They are given over to their passions.
That means that their hearts are allowed to be hardened by their sins (Romans 1:18ff). As a result, they can no longer see the error of what they are doing.
Without an awareness of their sinfulness, there will be no repentance and trusting in Jesus.
Without Jesus, they will have no forgiveness. Without forgiveness, there is no salvation.
======================================================
What should be the Christian's Response to the Homosexual?
Just because someone is a homosexual does not mean that we cannot love him (or her) or pray for him (her).
Homosexuality is a sin and like any other sin, it needs to be dealt with in the only way possible.
It needs to be laid at the cross, repented of, and never done again.
As a Christian, you should pray for the salvation of the homosexual the same you would any other person in sin.
The homosexual is still made in the image of God -- even though he is in grave sin.
Therefore, you should show him same dignity as anyone else you come in contact with.
However, this does not mean that you are to approve of their sin. Don't compromise your witness for a socially acceptable opinion that is void of godliness.
