Some theists wish to abandom science and replace it with creationism. How would they go about having experiments like in science class? You know, they have science fairs where all the kids do their little volcanos and stuff like that. What could be done with creation in the place of science? The bible says that faith the size of a mustard seed is enough to move a mountain. Could the application of faith be used to make cool stuff happen in such expeirments?

Make a G.I. Joe doll walk on water with only two pipe cleaners, a small piece of foil, sparkles, and a rubber band...

The sparkles can make it look like it's going "poof".

There is nothing mutually exclusive about being a scientist or a Bible believing christian. The "fathers" of most branches of science were creationists. Sir Isaac Newton, Faraday, Boyle, Pasteur, Cuvier, Kepler, Galileo, Pascal, etc.

Any lab experiment to create a living thing or to "evolve" one kind into another has been a total failure.. For example the infamous fruit fly experiments..

As for an experiment that can prove creationism or intelligent design.. Much is being done in the area of microbiology that proves that the hypothesis that various kinds of life evolved is impossible. The law of irreducible complexity will eventually be accepted by the secular progressive "scholars", just as their belief in spontaneous generation was years ago.

Many evolutionists wish to replace religion with science.

And so what will this faith be?

Atom and the eve of destruction. Every single invention, discovery, experiment in the name of process is first and foremost looked at as to it's military uses. Everything "new and improved" is looked at first as to it's military uses.

Yes, science has brought us a long way forward. Today in our world there enough nuclear weapons to destroy the earth as we know it a thousand times over and they are still being built.

There is enough nuclear waste from power plants to cause massive deaths. Yes, forward with science, no experiments needed to figure out that science will, in the end, find newer and better ways to kill humans, that is the main goal of science. God help us.

Now wait a minute. Where did you come up with the idea that theists want science to be left out of schools? You're only assuming that.

Christians don't want science out of schools. God created everything that science is made of and we have benefitted greatly from studying science.

We don't want science out of schools--we just want evolution left out. The same science book that says that we evolved from apes also says mutations only create problems. If evolution were true, we would be evolving down--not up.

Make sure you don't assume things..you know what they say about people who assume.

"Some theists wish to abandom science and replace it with creationism"

Notice the word "Some". Emphasis on SOME. This means that if ONE theist out of 4 billion wants to do away with science, then that qualifies as SOME. (even though "some" imples more than one)

If you mean "a majority of" or "a distinct minority", then please back up your pathetic argument with a reliable source.

Science is the discovery of what God put in place. You show me a a single cell that decided to reproduce sexually with another complex cell to have babies and care for their young and then I will listen to your evaluational delusional ways of thinking. Small amounts of environmental changes occur in a Species does not prove evolution just micro adaptation. Your so called scientific theories are still theories that lack fact and are full of conjecture proves that evolution is also a faith.

Right (sarcasm). Creationism does not exclude science, the "Big Bang Theory" could have been called the Big God Theory. It coincides with creationism.

I am a Fundamentalist Christian and I believe in science as well. Scientific "theories" are not fact, they are theories!

You describe a dramatic minority.
Most Christians I know belive God created the universe and gave us life. He also put the laws of science into action. Science is as valid to Christians as it is to anyone else. We just don't accept an unproven theory as fact.

1st Place: "My Uncle Is A Man Named Steve (Not A Monkey)"
Cassidy Turnbull (grade 5) presented her uncle, Steve. She also showed photographs of monkeys and invited fairgoers to note the differences between her uncle and the monkeys. She tried to feed her uncle bananas, but he declined to eat them. Cassidy has conclusively shown that her uncle is no monkey.

2nd Place: "Pine Cones Are Complicated"
David Block and Trevor Murry (grades 4) showed how specifically complicated pine cones are and how they reveal God's design in nature.

Honorable Mention:

"God Made Kitty" - Sally Reister (grade 3)
"The Bible Says Creation" - Aaron Kent (grade 5)
"Pokemon Prove Evolutionism Is False" - Paul Sanborn (grade 4)

You are confused. They are only against the science that they don't agree with.

Theories they accept: Gravity, Cells, Germ, Molecular, Plate tectonics, Atheist Mafia

Theories they don't accept: evolution, Big Bang.
