One sad thing about guys that you should know is that they are easily scared. A smart girl might make him feel dumb. What you should do is front load the relationship by finding things that you BOTH enjoy doing and talking about. Also honestly praise him for the good things about him. He will love to be with you and put up with your high grades.

This is something I have wondered as well. I do get youngin's hitting on me because they want a sugar mama. But that's not the same.
