i mean..we are able to eat, sleep, create more humans, breathe..so many things. i can't see how that could've been made all in one being in any other way.

What about all those people who are born and their systems don't work perfectly? Does God hate those people?

It's quite simple really. We started off as very primitive lifeforms and through survival of the fittest we evolved into human beings after billions of years.
If you think that this process over billions of years seems incredible then compare it to the way a human being comes into existence from a single cell to baby in just nine months! If that can happen in just nine months then surely you can believe that a simillar feat of evolution could occur over billions of years.
Also systems do NOT work perfectly. If there really was a God then frankly he's pretty hopeless at being a God because a lot of humans are far from perfect. A lot of humans are missing bits or their bits don't work properly. Evolution can account for that as part of the natural variety of life. A God wouldn't make such stupid mistakes.

They don't. Many faults in our body least of which is old age and death. Most stuff you can think of to ingest is poisonous, why the hell do we need sleep in the first place, why can't we breathe through our skin, or in water so we don't drown, why is our sense of smell pathetic, why do our eyes see so little of the EM spectrum? ... Our bodies by no stretch of the imagination work perfectly. However, it is enough to keep us alive long enough to reproduce.

Ever see failed mutants they keep in formaldehyde jars. Ever read up on some debilitating genetic diseases. Even something as trivial as poor eyesight would for most animals and even pre-civilization humans most likely mean a death sentence. You are viewing the world through rose tinged glasses, focusing only on the few successes, not the countless failures (including extinct species).

Evolution, Heidi. It's the fact that evolution is real and works so extremely well (given millions of years to make the countless minute changes necessary) that is actually responsible for why our biological systems work as well as they do. If and when you get go to a serious University, you will be introduced to new ideas that explain how life works far, far better than the ignorant cop-out excuse, "God did it."

thats becacuse your mind is (like most people's) unable to truly visualize and comprehend how long 4 BILLION years really is.

at most you can maybe visualize things in how long a time you have with your parents grandparents or great grandparents, but I don't think anyone can truly comprehend time when you go beyond a certain point that you cannot relate to because you don't live that long.

it is not that simple, and not all creatures, "sleep" not all reproduce the same way and not all breathe the same way.

it is not perfect- if it was, there wouldnt' be people born with birth defects, and the "machinery" wouldn't break down with ilness.

Our systems do not work perfectly. Many aspects are very inefficient and prone to all kinds of problems. But to the extent they work at all we can thank natural selection.

Interesting thing about the beauty of natural selection, artificial systems based on mathematical algorithms developed from evolutionary theory are now used to improve functioning in computer systems.

Everyone who's systems didn't work "so perfectly" died off without having sex. In fact, many people are still born who's systems don't function all that well, and guess what, 95% of the time, they die off before passing on the genes. Which might be why you don't see any of them and include them in your claims of perfection.

You mean like the kids in the Special Olympics? The kids on the Jerry Lewis telethon? The kids at St. Judes? You mean Satan is responsible for them, too? God takes no rap for that?

When the Earth formed, there were billions of primordial puddles of muck. Each of them was an experiment and statistically speaking, one of them had to eventually produce life.

If there was only one cell in existence for all time, it would be a far shot to say that evolution happens. However, there are billions of opportunities. Statistically, it must happen.

Read a book.

if we couldn't sleep, you'd believe?

i'd rather not have to eat. that is a failing...not a perfection. i have to do something three times a day or i die. you call that perfect?

i'd rather not have to sleep. that is another failing...not a perfection. i lose 1/3rd of my life to unconsciousness? you call that perfect?

create more humans. we've used this 'perfection' to take our planet past the brink of no return. too many humans= too many natural resources gone. your 'perfection' will cause our extinction.

breathe? if i didn't have to breath, i could go underwater or survive being choked. not one thing you list is perfect. in fact, i think you are secretly trying to prove we are not perfect....we are flawed creatures that get sick and die and can't even live a few hundred years.

For men: why does the urethra run through the prostate, instead of around it?

For women: why are babies' heads larger than the birth canal? Does God like vaginal tearing?

Your question is based on a false premise; our bodies work far from perfectly.
