In love and confused!!!?

I have been in love with this guy for a few years I had a crush on him. In the beginning he would give me lots of attention in a joking way and recently he we have made another transition. We have been communicating on a more personal level. Spending time together, we have mutual friends so sometime we make a group date. I am a private person but he doesn't seem to care who knows. I can't understand that because he has baby momma (that he still deals with off and on) and a sideline. He calls me and tells me he wants to spend time with me or invites me to go somewhere with him, but I just can't let my guard down. He thinks my family and friends influences the way I feel about him. Actually I am crazy about him but I can't open up and let him know. He has never pressured me to have sex. Is this just something I should let go?

Technically, yes, unfornutly, you skipped over something, you have no clue about. Which is the babies momma, thing. Thats beyond your understanding, trust me, because you might be in the perception that its over. Which would make you an idiot, it doesn't work that way, people don't just move on, espacially such as yours. But unless you guys go to a deeper level, you'll never know, and all you have is a light dance thats going no were. So ether you trust your instincts and DON'T open up, because I wouldn't trust the guy, or you fight your instincts and get more truth from him. And unless he says something MORE about his Babies Mother other then he doesn't think about her, and she isn't a problem, trust that she is, this stuff doesn't work the way we'd want to believe or else I'd find something else to do with my f'in time.....
