my daughter and I were just discussing earlier , people who walk about frowning
my daughter is like me , she loves hugs and laughs and talking and just being happy in general
she ( like me ) isnt popular with everyone ... because people think we are a little odd
I find it odd that happiness can be looked upon as odd lol
I couldn't imagine being angry , or wasting days in bad moods or even just frowning constantly
that seems like such an effort to me
are you like me ?
or do you find people like me odd ?
what are your thoughts guys ?
all thoughts appreciated

Hugs back at you hun!!!
There is nothing wrong with you or anyone else for that matter for being generally a happy person.
I find it odd that more people can't take the time in their lives to enjoy the breath they take, and be happy that they have a roof over their head, that they are loved by someone, that they have meals each day to eat....etc...
EVERYONE should be able to put a smile on their face every day for something in their life. Life is too short to be unhappy,

Have you ever heard of Mania or Hypomania? Why do you believe people find you odd? Have they told you that you are odd? You really should have a talk with a therapist. Just as being sad, angry or anything else all the time is a symptom of mental sickness. Being happy (euphoric) all that time is also a symptom of mental sickness.
So many of you seem to think it is happy or in a bad mood as if there is nothing else. Well the mentally healthy person is in between those two states most of the time and enjoy time of happiness and sadness from time to time. I find many things sad. I find the divorce rate sad, those that suffer from some mental sickness sad. Then i am always happy to see my lady friend, and other friends, parties, and dinners. The mood of a healthy person is congruent to the situation. So being happy when someone is hurt is incongruent and a obvious symptom of mental sickness.
Most all schizophrenics enjoy the high they experience, believe they are sane, deny they are sick and don't like taking medication and the side effects of the medication. Yet they would do better if they are treated.

I learned something recently. If you have love in your heart, that means your energy is good, your aura is bright and people can feel it. Those who are synchronized with your energy will share that with you and everybody will be happy. However, those who are not synchronized with you, that is they have a negative energy, or worse than that no energy at all, they will try to suck your energy out of you. How do they do that? Fighting, discussing and arguing with you. That's what is "vampirism". Some people are just like vampires, taking our energy from us all the time. You can do a few things to avoid that:
1. Don't fight back, try to keep your mood, actually reply with more love, kindness and sweetness. It is not in vain that Jesus told us to offer the other chin when someone hurts us. If we give love back, our energy remains untouched.
2. Pray for that person.
3. Forgive that person (or someone who hurts you).
4. During an argument, try to picture a mirror between you and the person, or just put your hands on your sacral chakra, so that you don't get emotional drained by the conversation or the fight.
You go girl!!
Don't let other people affect your love and your mood.
Peace!

Well...sorry, honestly I am mostly at the point of resolve that humans are beyond saving most of the day due to the actions of stupid adults: when innocent children are not being protected; people in leadership roles - abuse their gifted power of the people for personal gains. Many other points of negativeness in my day.
If you ask me if an adult will be 'good' or 'bad' given any choice - I will usually say they will be bad, but pray and hope I'm wrong.
I have stopped watching the "news" - and feel better. But I still hear about all the mess adults make for each other.
I pray often that humans will advance to more caring compassionate people.
Your not odd! I don't think your odd.

I don't think people like you are odd. I would much rather be around people like you than the one's who always act depressed or angry all the time. But personally, I've never been the "touchy feely" kind of person who hugs everyone *shrug*
Again, you are not odd. But I can't say I'm like you in all the ways you've listed. I would have laugh, talk and just be happy in general... lol ;-) Cyber hugs are different though

I do love loving. I also love warming myself by the fire on a cold day. But you have to be very careful stoking the fire, lest you build it up too high and burn your house down. Same is true of loving.
So I try to enjoy both things using the same respect, caution and moderation.
Do I find people like you odd? Yes, I do. Wonderfully so. And I truly wish I knew more oddballs like you :-)

Yep, oddball here too! I have wondered about this too, and my son has asked why people look at us "like that?" We laugh and enjoy life a lot, even when life is not that great. There is always good to be found. I live by this and teach my kids the same.

Good for you.
Interestingly enough, happiness is something that is nearly inherent in your being. You will enjoy life more, probably live longer, and be happier than most people.
Sadly, for many people, it's not a choice. In the old days they called it 'melancholy' today it's called 'depression'. But, not everyone is blessed with your outlook on life.

You say you couldn't imagine being angry.
Go live in Africa for a month, go see kids starving to death, dying of AIDS because of stupid Catholic attiutudes to contraception and expensive HIV drugs that the dying people can't afford.
If that doesn't make you angry then there's something wrong with you.
