There are many conditions known to cause dandruff such as Seborrheic dermatitis which is a skin condition that effects the scalp, face and upper-body. Symptoms include scaly or flaky skin that is itchy and red. There is also Psoriasis which is a skin condition that can cause silvery, flaky patches of skin on different areas of the body. It is commonly seen on the scalp.
The simplest and most easily cured dandruff is the result of a dry scalp. Often caused by overly dry environmental conditions or the overuse of cheap hair care products, this condition can be cured by moisturising. Massage skin moisturiser or oil into your scalp 1/2 hour before bathing and follow up with a moisturising conditioner. And there are many more causes such as:
The use of cheap hair care products that dry or irritate the scalp as well as chemical and mechanical over styling - especially conditioners.
Poor nutrition and food allergies have been blamed for dandruff - especially a deficiency in Zinc or Omega 3 fatty acids, which can be supplemented by taking fish oil.
Also having an oily scalp can cause dandruff. As i have pointed out there are many reasons to way you could be getting dandruff..
Hope this helps

Dandruff is nothing more than dry skin- that gets trapped by your hair. Just use a Shampoo that's made for it, & you should be ok... :)

you get it from either washing your hair to little (which makes your scalp oily), or to much (which makes your scalp dry). You can get rid of it with head and sholders.
