I need to translate a paragraph into the imperfect tense, but I am not sure about which verbs to change.

For example: I do not like any of my shirts so i am going to go buy a new shirt fo the party. i am going to go shopping at the mall. i amy even buy some new jewlery with the clothes.

Do I change the "going" verbs and the "buying" verbs?

Before you translate, put the text in the past tense.
Since you want to use the imperfect tense,
make it habitual or something that "used to" happen:
I never liked any of my shirts, so I often went to buy a new
shirt for a party. I used to go shopping at the mall. Sometimes
I even bought some new jewelry with the clothes.
Now you have an "imperfect" paragraph.
See if you can translate it now.
Hope that gets you rolling!

It is customary to use the "ing" , iendo when translating from English to Spanish, but it is incorrect and unnecessary.
Ex. I am eating. Estoy comiendo. You should translate it as,"Como" - I eat. Words come with culture. Mistakes are made when the word is taken out of its cultural context.

So: No me caen bien ninguna de mis camisas, entonces voy a comprar una camisa nueva para la fiesta. Voy a ir de compras al "mall", A lo mejor hasta compro joyer'ia nueva con la ropa.

A mi nunca me gustó ninguna de mis camisetas, entonces compraré una nueva camiseta para la fiesta. Iré de compras a la plaza comercial. Incluso iré a comprar joyería nueva (o joyas) para la ropa. (o que combinen con la ropa).
