My boyfriend is in the middle of divorce, yes he really is getting divorced, she asked to meet me, we met, all is well. He really is the most amazing man I've ever met or been with, we've been together for 7 months, he has 2 girls, I have a son. About once a month theres a huge hiccup between them, and I hear about half of it, ok, thats fine, don't like the woman anyways, don't want another reason to want to smack her.

Well, last week I picked up his daughters, the oldest asked me what I was making for dinner, I told her, she then went bananas, saying she loved me and why doesn't her dad just marry me already, I told her that couldn't happen till her mom and dad got divorced (shes old enough, she knows) she said that her mom and dad made a deal that when one of them was ready to get remarried, then they would get divorced. So here's this big secret? Am I not to get upset? Should I talk to him?

Why would you need to get upset?

They may have come to this arrangement for a number of reasons, (financial, kids not having to say that they are divorced,) its not a big deal.

I don't see how it changes anything between you and him? he is not hiding you from his kids and ex so obviously his marriage is over and he is with you, on the other hand if it bothers you that he is still married just mention it to him and see what he says.

talk to your man, kids get thing garbled, the truth is probably a little different than she realises. don't stew on thing like this talk about it. if you want a good relationship you need to be able to talk about anything

don't bother getting upset over what kids say.
just tell him what you heard, and ask him what that means.
what's the big secret? yes, talk to him but don't be accusing.
try to understand what's going on.
