No one know for sure how far the have riden, because they dont have a mile metor hooked to their bike which tell them the excapt number of miles.
Some state areas have diffrent meaning for how far a mile is block wise, some say it is 12 and others have said 10-20.
i have tryed this theory out in a car and have come up with that blocks are not always the same distance, so one direction i went i counted 23blocks both sides of the rd
and other was 8 and was 15 and last direction 13-1/2 so can see the difference.

I've rode 137 days this past year for a total of 1228 miles. Only 16 of those days were over 15 miles or more. I have 4 kids ranging in age from 4 - 13, so they take up a lot of time (not that I'm complaining, I love spending time with them!).
Most of my rides take place during my lunch hour. I started off the year lucky to get 7 miles in a 30 minutes to averaging 9 miles in just under 30 minutes for a 17.7 mph average speed.
My goal for this year was 1200. Next year I'm going to shoot for 1500! I plan on commuting to and from work at least 3 - 4 days each week. We only have about 27 weeks we can ride here in Northwest Pa and that's assuming we have good weather during that time.

I have not worked out my total for the year yet as that is done at the end of the year. At the present moment I am averaging about 200 miles a month. I am retired and have plenty of time although the wife drags me shopping more than I would like.

I don't know. I only took up cycling a few months ago, but to give you an idea I have cycled about twenty two miles this week.

From march till July I commuted 150 a week (15 each way each day), also running in evenings and weekends. Switched job in July. Now cycle 50 on Saturdays and maybe 100 on Sundays if I'm not running.

anybody who can do the impossible is probable to alter into very usual. regrettably it seems to be impossible to do the impossible. cycling at over 30 mph for sixteen hours an afternoon (consequently allowing a minimum time to consume, sleep, wash and defecate) daily for a 365 days is rather of course no longer possible for anybody we would recognize as a human. In 1939, Tommy Godwin rode seventy 5,0.5 miles in one 365 days to set an staying power driving checklist that some have faith is honestly no longer crushed. He exchange into quite astounding yet could desire to conceal two times the mileage and then merely approximately 30,000 greater to hit a hundred and eighty,000.

Says 603 on my bike computer but was riding it before I had that as well, also says total time riding is 53 hrs so I'm not too upset with that, will have to keep a record next year, could be interesting!

I know I've done over 200 rides this year, for around 2200 miles. Unfortunately, most of my riding this year has been for transportation rather than training or long pleasure rides. But still, it's riding, so I can't complain.
