I don't know any illegals, because those I know who live in Mexico and work in the US, goes back to Mexico at the end of the week, then back here again comes Monday. They don't illegally immigrate here.
If those who commit illegal immigration goes here only to work, the US government has a program that allows them to do so in a form of Worker's Visa. And if they choose to stay here, they have to go thru the same process like everyone else.
There's really no reason to illegally immigrate other than the fact that there are those in our government who favor socialism and support illegal immigration by promising them the capability to stay in the US indefinitely.
The most digusting part of the US government is the fact that poor people always vote Democrat because of the party's social programs and benefits, and what's the best way to increase a Democrat's support based? By making poor illegal aliens legal and giving them the ability to vote.
There's really no other reason why a government party will reward illegal aliens by giving them amnesty other than for votes.
When they say they want to help them, it's a lie, since we've been helping many other countries without giving them amnesty.
I feel more sorry to those who have been victims by the increase in illegal immigration. ID theft, murder, rape, robbery, gangs, etc. While the whole country sympathized with the illegal, suddenly the legal immigrant and citizens don't matter.

I live in Miami, and live among many both legal and illegal, the debate has never been about for me whether the illegals are hardworking or good people, as with any people there are good and bad , it has always been about rule of law. When I moved to Miami in the 1960's we were a English speaking city, now we are a Spanish speaking city. My fear is that the country will become more like the Miami of the 2007 than the city of the 1960's. I know change is apart of life, but losing the ability to converse in the language of my country, English is painful

No, I do not personally know any illegal aliens. My personal stance is this. No country could survive unregulated mass migration illegal or otherwise. Nor can America keep it's borders unsecured. All entitlements, hand outs and freebies should be immediately cut off. All states should pass a bill similar to Oklahoma's HB 1804, known as the Oklahoma Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act of 2007, which makes it a felony to hire illegal immigrants. Before the bill became effective over 25,000 illegal immigrants fled Oklahoma for parts unknown. Cut off handouts, build the wall and create laws that go after people that hire illegal aliens. When they are caught they should be promptly deported back to their country of origin.

My stance on illegal aliens no matter where they come from, they have violated the law. Liken to any other criminal they should be rounded up and deported. I am sure it would cost less than what they are costing this country in their medical and other benefits that belong to citizens of this country. They have kids who automatically become citizens. that needs to be changed immediately!
Another thing is communication. We speak English here and I feel anyone who lives here should learn the language not the other way around. Legal immigrants are put at a disadvantage in the workplace, hospitals and other areas where communication is important.
We welcome legal immigrants with open arms. For illegals: I say no to drivers licenses, no to any benefits and no to the U.S. for paying their legal fees. They should contact their own consulate. Let's build that wall!
Thanks!

Yes and it doesn't make them any better than the ones I don't know. I am against illegal immigration.
I also know a number of people that went through years of legal paperwork to get into this country legally.
I feel sorry for them - more than the "hard working illegals who couldn't get a break".
Everyone has a right to a better life - it is how you live it that molds the person you are inside.

Yes I do. I had a friend that I assumed was legal as all his family was. He got arrested for dealing drugs and was found to be illegal. He was deported and them came back. His ex-wife turned him in and now he sits in jail for the original drug charge and will be deported when he serves his time. Others I worked with at a factory. The temp service that provided them was raided by ICE and 68 were deported. I am against illegal immigration. Illegal immigration is wrong and it seems like we are finally doing something about it.

I knew people who were illegal and went through the process to become legal, I've knowen illegals, I live in the capital of Hispanics in America (Miami) so I've seen them all..... and my stance is, alot of people like to ignore the fact that these "illegals" are not illegals, becuase you can't be an illegal human being, they are creatures of circomstance, whom come to thins country to provide a beter life for their families... we need to reform our system and weed out the bad apples and stop treating all these "illegals" like they have commited murder

Everyday, I see or meet people who are probably not native-born Americans (to judge by accents and command of english). Since legality isn't visible, I have no idea which are legal, which illegal, which naturalized citizens, and which Americans who's parents dreadfully neglected thier education.
I'm pro-immigration, anti-illegal, support the 14th Amendment, and feel that interior enforcement focused on employers is the best first step in dealing with the problem.

I used to, but he was deported after being turned in by our employer. We never knew he was illegal until after it happened, he was sent back to U.A.E.
I'm personally against illegal aliens being in the country. I love to welcome legal immigrants, though. I have several friends, and a couple family members, that came legally, and I'm always more than glad to help them out when they have questions about cultural differences, how things work in politics here, how school systems are run, etc.

No. I do not know any illegal aliens. I believe they should be deported or leave. I know legal Americans. People work too hard to come here legally. They would be angry if some ones else were given a free ride for breaking the law. Life is not fair but it should be as fair as possible.
