Converting any file to PDF?

I have Adobe 8. I need to convert some files to PDF. So that I can attach them to an email to send. How do I do that?

Use Zamzar (www.zamzar.com) or PrimoPDF (primopdf.com) which lets you print from your computer to the PDF printer, and outputs a file
