Sometimes sinus problems can aggravate dark circles. Do you have allergies? If so, then try taking an anti-histamine regularly. Otherwise, there is not much you can do. The skin under the eye is very thin and what you are seeing is the blood vessels.

Sleeping just a couple days of nine or ten hours won't do anything at all. Some people naturally develop dark circle like coloring beneath their eyes. I have myself. With you being twelve, I highly doubt it's from stress, lack of sleep, etc.

I read that dark circles under the eyes usually indicate food allergies and possible weak kidney energy. You should try quinoa (it's a grain), and drink 2 glasses a day of cranberry juice for a week to see if they improve. You also need to start eating more food that nourishes your kidneys such as salmon, trout, onions, beetroot, celery, garlic, raspberry, blackberry, blueberries.

It could be because you got it from your parents, in my family there are a few of us that get dark circles no matter what. I've been told to take multi-vitamin tablets to get rid of them. But the results will take some time, its been almost a week and I havn't seen any change.
