Can I freeze pumpkin cookies after they have been baked?

It's a standard oatmeal, flour, canned pumpkin, etc. recipe. Do you think that they would freeze well? I would like to send to my 93 year old Grandma who was just diagnosed with breast cancer - so I don't want to screw them up. Thanks!
