Calla Lillys were part on my weddings theme. I cant imagine that they are in poor tastes since there was sooooo much calla lilly wedding stuff out there!

Lillies are very beautiful as wedding flowers, you can have whatever flowers you like and calla lillies have become very popular as they look so elegant.

I agree you can have whatever flowers you want

I love lillies, but when I got married I made sure none of the flowers at the wedding had lillies in because I knew that my husband's gran would have been mortified!

But it's your day, so you choose

Uh, you can have what ever flower you like!

There are many kinds of lillies and I think they're pretty!

Have lillies if you want lillies, it's your wedding. Your mom doesn't/didn't have to have or go without lillies in her OWN wedding.

im choosing my flowers the night before my wedding, im getting them from tescos, just before i go to decorate the pub!! i have no idea what to get, and as long as there is something bright and cheerful i do not mind in the slightest.. my flowers will cost £15 and £12 for bridesmaids, im not having any for the tables, my hubby to be has serious hayfever. poor thing...

i get that you want to choose your flowers now but whatever you do choose, please dont pay too much for them-remember that the things die!!
theres no point paying stupid amounts of money for run of the mill flowers!

Yes, but you will need to have them in a water holder (not cut bouquet - open stem at the bottom). My florist told me without water they would wilt rather quickly. And even with water he really didn't recommend them because he didn't think they would hold up.

Simle answer...Its your wedding you can have whatever you want!

Seriously...I am planning my wedding and my father has made it miserable! Remember that the day is about you and your soon to be husband. Everyone else is going to be there to celebrate the two of you. And hopefully you'll only do it once, so make sure its what you want! Have no regrets!
