Because of scientific investigation. Occam's Razor is a logical way of looking at things. It says something like this:
All things being equal, the most likely explanation is the right one.
The Christian Bible doesn't prove anything. It only proves that there are many people who BELIEVE it does. That's the definition of faith. Believing in things HOPED for. To use a single source, the Christian Bible, as proof is not a logical way to prove something. Any more than Darwin's book, Origins of the Species, is proof. There must be evidence outside of a single source (yes, I know it was many books put together. I'm talking independent outside source) to begin to provide a foundation of proof. Once another bit of evidence is established, the work on building that proof can continue. If nothing else that is not based on a particular piece of evidence or theory cannot be found, it must be rejected or taken on faith as the Christian Bible is.
Just my opinion, though. :) Everyone will believe what they want. That's the beauty of free will.

The Egyptian Book of the Dead proves Ra exists. Why isn't that taught in school? The Epic of Gilgamesh proves that Noah wasn't the only one "saved" during a flood... why isn't that taught in school?
I can't be serious with a person who obviously hasn't read anything beyond the Bible and doesn't understand the basics of Science. Come on, if I can grasp the basics, anyone should be able to.
Honestly, some of you people in here make me feel very intelligent when it comes to Science.

Frankly its because those in the education system have been convinced that evolution is a fact. Also, even though I believe the bible is truth, not everyone does and to teach it in an American public school as a fact would be unjust.
In private schools it's fine because the parents pay for the child to be taught this information, but if you are only able to attend a public school no one religion may be taught as fact.

What most of these people are trying to tell you is that your religious convictions won't play in public schools. Public schools are not allowed to espouse any specific religion. If you want your Bible taught, then you have to be willing for them to also teach the Koran, the Talmud, the Baghavad Gita, etc. And the Navajos have a really interesting creation theory. You can teach your religious theory at church, the public schools will stick to science.

You are trying very hard to be a parody of what you consider to be stupid religious people. I have read all of your other questions (except for the tennis ones) and this is what you do every time. I think you succeed about 70-80% of the time in gulling people...and I guess you believe that's a good rating. I would just like to let you know that there is one person here who sees you for what you really are..... Wait! There is more than one! The GMC said it all very well! And the amusing thing is that he got two thumbs down! Hahahahaha!

well "evilution" isn't taught
but i take it you mean biological evolution and, more specifically, human origins
there are at least three answers:
1) science is taught in science class
2) Genesis isn't "proof" of anything, even outside of science
3) the First Amendment prohibits teaching Genesis as fact in school (and it's not even about teaching Genesis -- it's *your* literal interpretation of Genesis that you want taught. even Jews don't teach Genesis as fact)

Actually if you honestly look at how people are actually built it should become pretty obvious pretty quickly that an intelligence was NOT behind the design. A truly intelligent designer would have done a much better job. YOU would have done a much better jobThe only reason that people have managed to survive as long as they have is because their intelligence has allowed them to overcome some major flaws in evolution's original design.

Because evolution has been extensively studied using the scientific method. It forms the main framework for modern biological science and our current understanding of life on Earth. Just because one or two pieces of the overall puzzle aren't found doesn't mean the entire premise for evolution is flawed.

The answer is simple. The theory of evolution draws upon evidence of the physical world for support while the proof of the existence of God is all spiritual in nature. It is a matter of convenience that plays into the hands of those who deny one supreme Spirit. Studying the effect (creation) will reveal the cause (Creator) only after the cause is made known. God's will for man is that he employ faith. Physical proof, aside from any spiritual evidence, would completely void the need for faith.
