I think the people who didn't get a chance go to heaven. Its the ones that deliberatly turn away from god that are in trouble. but even then i don't think they are condemned to hell. God can't be as mean or scary as something it just wouldn't make sense.

Those who never heard about God or any religion for example a tribe in the deep jungles of Amazon, will be judged by the rules of their tribe. All human societies where ever they live have basic rules of what is good and what is bad. If they followed those rules, didn't harm any one, didn't kill animals except for food, didn't steal any ones food or animal, didn't commit any sin with anther's wife or daughter, didn't kill any human except for self defense or in defense of his people will be worthy of heaven.

You have to understand that God is not Unjust. He knows each and every thing about every human. He is absolute authority but also the Wisest and never does injustice to any human. He feeds all humans whether they worship Him or not all their lives. He has created life supporting system on earth. Any one who wants to make some effort can eat and feed his family.

The short answer is that those who are "religious" or believers do or are doing what they need to be saved or live in heaven w/God when they die (Radical extremists die in their jihad and Christians put their faith in Jesus the son of God, for example - they believe they're not under judgement). If someone doesn't know enough to have made a religious decision, then they are under judgement and God decides what to do with them based on the circumstances of their life and how they lived it. If there's no God you don't have to worry about it, if there is God then you might want to decide on a religion and how to live your life accordingly.

EVERYONE has the chance to get to know him!! If you're thinking about people in Africa or Iraq where they are Muslim and have never heard of God, well God still speaks to EVERYONE. Some just choose not to listen.

Apparently, if you help anyone who believes in Jesus with a drink when they are thirsty, some clothes or food if they lack these, or if you visit them in prison or hospital or welcome them when they are a stranger to you, then you will be OK, because it will be counted as if you did that for Jesus himself.

And vice-versa, if you refuse to help you will be for the drop, even if you are religious and never miss a Sunday.

that isn't for us to answer - God alone will judge - the important thing for us to do is to 'seek the lord while he may be found'

God doesn't want you to be religious!

He wants you to be redeemed!
