Why do humans hang out in the cats section?
Religion and spirituality isn't just for the religious and spiritual, its for anyone who wants to talk/joke/ask/answer on anything to do with the subject of R&S

I come to discuss RELIGION and SPIRITUALITY. As I do have a Religion... it just isn't yours. I don't mock your God... but I will mock you if you act like a hypocrite and attack something you don't understand while trying to take the moral high ground. This is a place for anyone... not just "believers" in your God.
Fulfilling what prophecy? There is no prophecy about people discussing religion.
*drink* I'm glad I don't have to work tomorrow.

All I have to say to you is,"Love thy neighbor as thyself." Whether you agree with them or not, whether they respect you or not. Doesn't matter and never will, take the high ground and show discipline. Being an aggressive Christian only pushes people away, It's better to be a good example of your beliefs.
Jesus preached love and compassion, to be a Christian means, "to be like Christ." Jesus was considered to be a "son of God," which in the vernacular of the time and location, meant something like having a divine nature. Sort of like when you call someone a son of a b****, you don't mean that literally, you just mean that they have a b****y nature. Coincidentally, Jesus said that we all are children of God. The holy spirit awakened in him, which is inside everyone and everything. That means that the only thing that does anything is God. Whether people realize they are with God or not it doesn't matter. The shadow and the light create form, the yin yang, the balance of the universe. You cannot have only one side of a coin.
The true name of the Hebrew God which was given to Moises to tell the Jews... אהיה אשר אהיה (I am that I am) Read it in Exodus.
Another example is when Jesus says,"I am the way, the truth, and the light." He's not talking about his own ego (which in Greek means mask) but the great "I AM" which is God.

No they are not, no where in the whole entire bible does it say that in the end times unbelievers will post questions and answers on Yahoo answers.
There is more religions than just Christianity and more gods than your God. spirituality is more then your limited view of it. Some Atheists are even spiritual . Being spiritual does not mean you believe in god or gods being spiritual is also when you allow your subconscious be your guide. After all that is the way god and gods work anyway.
I have a religion called Wicca I am a spiritual person I give tribute to the lord and /Lady daily, so I have a right to be here.

I turn on the computer to Yahoo, and then go to ANSWERS. Wow, that was easy.and there they are, in all of their resplendent glory.
Now before I can even choose, Society and Culture? there they are. At least three questions.
Here, ath----i===est, oh, ath-------------i--------est. here ath----i---est.
Well, what is a good atheist to do. i finish what I was doing, and get to R&S, and answer the thousands of questions, that appeal to, and are aimed right at me..
I try not to mock, unless someone reallyyyy asks for it.
I have been there, and done that whole 'god thing'', and I am not interested in going back. And who in the fiery volcano, says we are fulfilling prophecy?
I don't believe in prophecy. I do believe in trying to cure people of their 'delusions..
You christians fell honored bound to 'preach to us'? Well, we sort of feel, honor bound, to tell you that you are full of misconceptions about a nonexistent deity, who will give you about as much as , oh, say Thor, or Odin, or Ra or >>>>>>?

It is OK we should have petience. May be some day some one out of them will learn the reality about God and will accept God.
Atleast their being here gives us an opportunity to try to guide them. Whether they accept God's guidance or not, we will be rewarded for our effort on the Day of Judgment. And that is really good for us.

lol - as a non-christian it's always fun to poke holes in cultist idiocy...atheists seem to be addicted to proving their idiocy right(and that is sooo easy with the amount of christrians who refuse to take their book seriously)...if you find your beliefs are 'mockable' then perhaps your bacon-priest is at fault? believe what u will, heaven and hell are simply a cult's misunderstanding of two of the most important places in the next/last place we were - research shamanism if u want a more accurate picture.....christianity is cool, but churches are the haven of nonces and idiots.

It's a public forum for people who are interested in these things. One can be interested in religion and spirituality without being a believer.
Besides, how boring would this site be if everyone here agreed with everyone else? I think of that from time to time when I see some atheists complain that there's no "Atheism" section.

Some are curious like me.
Some are intellectual bullies, and like to show their 'sophistication' by mocking another person's beliefs.
Some simply have no self-esteem and use the semi-anonymous nature of the internet to spew vitriol without having worry about the consequences.
