No, they are called Satanists. Christians follow Christ so are Christians and Satanists follow Satan. One thing you need to understand some Christians feel and believe that we are Satanists even though we do not believe in satan because in their way of thinking all other Gods and Goddesses are satan.

No, Satanists are not Christian. Most Satanists do not actually believe in Satan. They are really atheistic, they just use Satan as an allegory or symbol that they admire.

Theistic Satanists actually do believe in Satan, but their numbers are very small. They are usually rebellious kids, angry atheists, or crazy people. These are the people who commit crimes in the name of Satan and make real Satanists look bad. They are usually uninformed as to what Satanism actually is. Theistic Satanists think it's inverse Christianity, but real (LaVeyan) Satanism has nothing to do with it. Real Satanists, in fact, look down on Theistic Satanists as uneducated fools who are to be avoided at all cost.

Good luck with explaining Wicca to your friends. I know what that's like. BB.

Not exactly...in order to be a Christian, you sort of have to be a follower of Christ, as is literally explained in the definition of the word. Satan worshipers are just...Satan worshipers.

And Wiccans are in no way Satanic. That's folly. Wicca is a nature-based religion that does not acknowledge the existence of God or Jesus or Satan.

Assuming you mean Theistic Satanist ( Consider Satan as a Deity), No. First Muslims also believe in Jesus and in God yet there are not considered Christians. Theistic Satanism could be considered an Abrahamic Religion (Like Judaism, Christianity and Islam). But Just because they have Jesus in their Doctrine doesn't mean they are Christians.

At first glance this question struck me as inflammatory but after I thought for a few seconds, it actually could be defined as a valid question since technically speaking, one would have to believe in the idea of Christ as the Son of God to believe in Satan (aka Anti-Christ).

However, I think that most real Satanist don't believe there is actually this evil guy named Satan or any other Deity for that matter. So the answer to your question would be no.

No, they're not Christians, because they don't worship/follow Christ. That's the definition of a Christian.

Explain Wicca to people as a religion associated with the earth, and nature, rather than a specific divine being.

Most Satanists are atheists. For them, "Satan" is a convenient symbol for "Do what you will"--no, I am not joking. Satanists generally adhere to "Do what you want is the whole of the law". "Harm none" isn't part of their motto, it's "Get away with whatever you can." The Satanist rationalization for this is that our society already *is* Satanic in nature. People already do spend far more energy trying to get away with whatever they can. Satanists claim that they're just being honest about it.

Um ... no. Most Satanists don't believe in *any* supernatural beings, including Satan. Christians, by definition, worship Christ as Savior and Redeemer; even if Satanists believed in Christ they don't follow this faith.

Wicca has nothing to do with either, so I don't see how this is relevant.

not all satanics believe and worship satan.

only moronic ones do.

because in order to believe in satan u must admit there is god and jesus. and your only source for this is the bible. and it explains the status of each "deity" in this case. so you'd be willingly worshiping an unpowerful being in defiance of a god you know to exist.

In the Bible in Acts 19:13-15 it is written about an exorcism account:
"...They would say, 'In the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.' Seven sons of Sceva, a chief priest, were doing this. (One day) the evil spirit answered them, "Jesus I know, and I know about Paul, but who are you?'".

Basically, even demons believe in God and Jesus....but they are definitely not Christian. To be a Christian is to follow "The Way" of Christ. Satanists don't do that so...no they are not Christian.

Hope this helps you out. God Bless! :)
