You can attend the church services and see your spouse. When my husband was in OCS (2 yrs ago), I met him for church services on post. The OCS candidates can elect to attend the services or not. For us, it was the only time we could see each other and the children could see their daddy. When the children (ages 1 & 3 at the time) would get disruptive during the service, we would all go outside and hang out and my husband would have a chance to play with the kids and just talk with me. It was really very casual. I had been told that we wouldn't be able to sit together, but that wasn't the case. Each candidate was free to sit where they wanted to sit. After each service, they had coffee, juice, and a wonderful assortment of snacks available for everyone.

OCS is the officer version of Basic Training. Family will not be able to visit until graduation.

Only semi-true.
If you attend church on-post you can see them every sunday that they are not in the field. A couple I know did this during the protestant service at Fort Benning.
If you do not attend church, I would suggest at least attending during OCS.
And on a side note... I think I may actually know who ProudAmerican is after reading her answer... small world, isn't it?
