Clover, I am so sorry that you are depressed. As a Christian, I would ask that you never pray that God would take your life. God gave you life! Yes, He is the taker of life but, we are NOT to tempt the Lord God! Now, I know He knows your heart and why you are feeling depressed. I ask that you please pray for healing of your heart, not death!

Yes, God will send signs, visions and dreams. I cannot tell you if any of the above was a sign from God or not. Only God, and you can work through that one; however, I will tell you that God can and will hear all prayers, so be very careful what you ask for! In as much, I am praying that God will help you, in your pain and that you will seek Him through prayer, scripture and in your life. May God bless you with a joy filled heart and may you always grow, in HIM.

God Bless You,
Gail

God will never strike you with lightning. He loves you. The double rainbow in the sky could be a sign. But maybe not. Did it rain the night before? Was there a thunder and lightning storm the night before, and you asked God to use some of that lightning to strike YOU? I don't know. The dove could be a sign though.

People can write anything off as luck or chance but after thousands of years and so many "freak" things happening there is no doubt in my mind that this is God. Pick up some good praise music and see if that does not make the depression flee from you.

Could God send some visuals in order to encourage us? It is not out of the question. After all, His very creation speaks volumes of His power and glory.

Feeling like a loser sometimes comes with being a teenager - yeah, I know, the age thing. But, it is reasonable. The real thing is that one cannot live in those bad days. Keep praying and seeking the Lord and He will reveal more of Himself to you.

Also, make sure that the people you hang out with the most are not those who either bring you down or join you in your 'down-ness'. Consider good Christian friends who are there to encourage you and pray for/with you. Also, consider what scripture says (that means to get to know scripture, i.e., read it regularly) which encourages you and meditate on those verses from time to time. When you pray, don't stop after you've spilled your guts to the Lord - take some time to listen if He has anything to say to you.

Here is what I will say - have a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

It could be...God works in mysterious ways. He says He loves you with an everlasting love and will draw you to Him. (Jer.31:3) You are very special to God and He wants a personal relationship with you. He wants you to talk with Him and tell Him when you feel like a loser or when you are happy. He would like you to tell Him everything you think and feel...He is interested and He has the time for you. Just talk to Him like you would to a friend because that is what He wants to be to you. You are His child which makes you absolutely NOT a loser!!
I will pray for you to know how special you are.....and that you will stay close to God and know His love for you. I will also pray that you will read His letter to you...the Bible, and follow His instructions for life. God bless you.

Maybe what God was trying to tell you is that He is aware of how you feel, and He sent you a double rainbow as a sign of how much He loves you, and that He doesn't want you to give up. It was almost like Him saying, "Look what I made for you today just to cheer you up and say I love you. Trust in me with your whole heart and give me your worries and cares, and I will turn them into rainbows for you!" I will be praying for you. God bless you!!!

Lovingly,

Virginia

I doubt it.

I rather think God would show you something more in line with the fact that Jesus thinks that you are worthy enough for Him to have died on a cross for you. That makes you pretty special. Therefore, there's no way you could be a loser in God's eyes, unless, of course, you deny Jesus as His Son & God's redemptive plan for a reconciled relationship with Him through His Son.

See yourself (and others) as God sees you. Easier to do than say, but God is pulling for you.

Signs can be deceiving.Christians are to depend only on what God has written to us in his word.God already put a rainbow in the cloud
as a covenant.
Satan can do signs and wonders,so be careful
and pray through Jesus for deliverance and healing.

God is everywhere. He never abondens you where ever you go. In the darkest hour or the brightest. I believe it is a sign.

"And lo, I am with you alway, even to the end of the world" (Matthew 28:18)

God is showing you the He has plans for you. Either you are not firm with God or He will place someone or people for you to preach to them.

Cheer up God Loves you, and I'm sure that no matter what is going on in your life, you can handle it. In the book of James it says that God will never give you more than you can handle, just ask for His help. And, I think it's wonderful that He is communicating with you. He talks to all of us. It's not always in the same way, He talks to us in a way that we can understand.
