God is still in the healing business.
I was healed of polio, when I was 3, of course that was in the dark ages,
but I also have more recent proof.

Yes, God heals today. For whatever reason, by His sovereignty, He has not chosen to do miraculous healings as much in the U.S. or other Western civilization. But, He is God and will do as He wishes.
Does God put sickness in people? Consider the plagues on Egypt and what God allowed the devil to do with Job. Perhaps God would not directly 'put' illness on someone, He may allow the enemy to have his way for a season.
People want to think that God is 'nice', but indeed, He is holy and just. This is why we should pray according to His will instead of praying for a healing that may not be what He wants. Not that it is necessarily wrong to ask for His healing mercy, but God has a purpose for everything. He may use a sickness or injury to show His power in physical healing, or He may use the same for something more internal, whether for the sick individual or those connected to him/her.
I didn't cite any scripture, sorry - but I think you may find that my views are not unscriptural.

God heals today and will continue to heal.
Some may claim to have an experience of the “Baptism of the Spirit” and speak in tongues. Some may claim to have received power to heal, do miracles, and cast out demons, but they are false prophets and false teachers. Read II Peter chapter 2. They are interpreting the Bible by their own experience rather than interpreting their experience by the Bible. The devil can counterfeit supposed miraculous experiences that are not of God. There is a spirit of Truth, and there is a spirit or error. I John 4:1-6.

You should check up on the story about John of God, who lives in Brazil. This is a healer who goes completely unconscious for his healing abilities.
BTW I do not believe in God, but I remain open minded on the subject, in that I am willing to look at cases cited as such, to see what is actually happening there?
The body of course, does have it's natural healing properties - without which we'll all die. It is when it fails - that we seek doctors, etc.
You should not disregard people who don't believe in God - because much of the world and it's knowledge is due to such people - using their brains and abilities - and not relying God to do his work - which the majority believe, is not present at all.

God is the only one who can heal. Doctors, medicine and people cannot heal. These are just the ways that God may use to bring about healing but the healing itself comes only from God. God also allows sickness. Sin and being in this sin sick world brings about many illnesses but still God has to allow it. He still has to permit either sickness or healing.

The Bible says the Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. So if that's true, and He healed during His time on earth, then YES. God heals today. A question for the doubters. Can you show me passage in the Bible where it says healing is NOT for today?

Yes I most certainly do. My husband home yesterday(after 14 days in hospital) after a very bad illness that put him on life support, he is now healed and well on the road to a complete recovery. God Bless

God will help you endure any sickness you have. The real cure to all sickness is going to come when His Kingdom comes.
The Bible says: “Far be it from the true God to act wickedly, and the Almighty to act unjustly!”—Job 34:10. This shows that God does not put sickness on us but allows it to be.

I know God still heals, I'm living proof. God doesn't have sickness, how can He give something He doesn't have?

I completely believe that God still heals, because Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever- however I also know that He does not always choose to heal- I believe He could heal me from my chronic disease right this very moment- because He is the same Jesus that healed years ago=- however He is still God and if He can use me more for His glory not healed so be it.
